Amanda's POV

"Yes Mom ! I think I'm fit enough to go back to work and besides I can't stand being at home and doing nothing, you know that's not me " I said putting on my oversized hoodie while balancing my phone between my ear and shoulder

"I understand baby. I'm just concerned as parent but promise me that even if you feel even an ounce of pain, you'll stop working and take a rest . I'm sure Mr Reigns wouldn't mind."

" Mr Reigns? Uhm- yea sure ... Yes ! I'm sure he wouldn't mind mama, matter of fact you two seem to be on the same page because he suggested the same thing. " dang ! I hate lying to my mom, or to either of my parents.

" I knew I liked that young man from the moment I met him and his wonderful family  " 

" Wonderful ? Yea right,"  I mumbled while rolling my eyes

" Huh ? Uya thetha  "  (huh !?  Did you say something ? )

" No  mommy, nothing ! But I really have to go though so I'll talk to you soon and send my love to everyone " I said rushing her off the phone obviously over this topic

"Okay baby, I will. Be careful, stay safe and TAKE IT EASY AMANDA !  You might act like a robot but your body is definitely one of a human and it operates like one so take it easy ."  my mom said, scolding me.

" Yes Mom ! I know better than to overwork myself but I really have to go now, Bye ! And I love you.  " she said it back before I ended the call, guilt instantly took over my head.

It's been 3 months since I've left the hospital and since I've last seen Leonardo or any of the Reigns and Yes ! I kept my baby, I couldn't find it in my heart to abort it. I don't even know why I considered abortion because my parents raised me better and also because Leonardo would kill me if he were to find out that I was pregnant and got rid of his baby. No ! Leonardo doesn't know that I'm pregnant and neither do my parents or family. When Leonardo told me to keep my distance, I did ! And I haven't told my parents about my pregnancy because I'm scared of disappointing them and the rest of my family. Where I'm from, a woman is not supposed to get pregnant before marriage and if she does get pregnant before marriage, then that's a sign of disrespect towards her parents and traditions. I also didn't tell them that I got "Fired " from Reigns Inc , basically what I'm trying to say is  ' I've dug myself into a big hole' . I'm now 4 months pregnant and I've managed to get myself a " job "as a waiter at a 'fancy' diner owned by my landlord, Mr Smith and his wife.  It wasn't your typical "overcrowded, dirty diner" around the corner, it was more like a restaurant but had a diner theme to it. You're probably wondering why didn't I apply for another job with the qualifications that I have ? I tried ! But they refuse to hire a pregnant woman, who will shortly require a maternity leave. I have enough money to last me until the end of my pregnancy but I eventually got bored sitting in the house and doing nothing so I asked Mr Smith if he could give me a job so I can keep myself busy until the baby arrives. Mr Smith and his wife didn't mind having me around the restaurant, I helped wherever I could . With the money I earned from Reigns Inc, I've managed to pay my rent for the next 3 months because I wanted to start buying stuff for the baby next month although De' arra already beat me to it.  These past few months, my relationship with De'arra and Ken , has gotten so much stronger. I love them so much, I've been going through a rough time these past few months but they always manage to bring a smile to my face. My parents went home two weeks after I was released from the hospital and De'arra and Ken never left my side, they basically were the only people who knew about my pregnancy and they were excited about it more than I was. De'arra already bought clothes and bags for the baby and Ken bought plenty sneakers, we don't even know the gender yet ! They attended every doctors appointment with me, every single one of them ! Because of that I decided to make them the godparents of my baby.
