Chapter 4

 In the Armoury

They all checked their guns getting ready to go and Jason went to his daughter with Ray

"Why'd you change the team?"

"4 has a better dynamic with 2 and it'll help with this mission." She replied

"You mean Marco and Astrid..."

"Huh?"

"Their big on names." Clay replied as he walked up "8 needs you to approve the routine and apparently 11 up and is gonna do the second car."

"Thanks 3." She replied walking off

"Elara." Jason growled "Her name is Elara."

"You might want to tell her that." Clay replied "They prefer they numbers at the moment, so you'll need to help them remember first and last names at times."

"How long have they been here?"

"Truthfully coming up 7 years." Clay replied

In the car

Marco and Astrid walked into the building and then we heard the gunshot ring out as Astrid and Marco were standing on the edge shooting back at the men, Astrid was hit on her right side lowering her sidearm for a minute as Marco got up and stood side on in front of her. One arm around her waist as she pulled back and he switched sides as she switched hands. Throwing her left hand over his right resting her elbow on his shoulder as she shot before tapping him and he handed the gun to her as she shot with both and a bad arm, he turned to clip in before tapping her. She was quick to get up

"What the hell?" Trent growled as we watched his daughter climb into Marco lap

"They do this often." Clay stated "It's so that they have eyes on both, Marco holds the rope and controls the decent while Astrid watches the ground below to make sure their isn't another one..."

Before he could finish a gunshot rang out and we saw Marco stop the decent to fire another one at the top of the building while Astrid shot at the bottom

"Covering!" Elara replied with Theo and started shooting out the back of van as Astrid and Marco got into the van

In the Van

"Damn it!" Astrid swore before climbing into Marco lap as she turned to the fire out the back with him, the other van with the other members of our team pulled up and helped shooting the bad guys

At the base

Ray POV:

Marco was the first one out of van leaning in to help Astrid out just as the 2 girls came running out

"Daddy!" The girl yelled racing out

Marco leaned down to hug them both, holding them close before going to put them to bed

"Can Aunt 4 come with us?" Soraya asked

"Why don't you ask her?" Marco replied and Nyssa speed off towards us where Astrid was standing

"Aunt 4..." Nyssa stated waiting for her aunt to turn to her

"Hello Nyssa." Astrid greeted crouching down to talk to her "What can I do for you?"

"Can you come put us to bed?"

"Of course sweetie." Astrid smiled picking the little girl up and walking over towards there father

"Hey Clay..." Trent called over to him

"Yea?"

"What there story?"
