Jason POV:

"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! F**k!" Elara screamed as she beat the bag continuously before turning and slamming her fist into the wall

"Elara!" Ray yelled out rushing to her and pulling her away "Elara, Elara stop..."

She finally calmed down enough to sit on the bench and Trent bandaged her hands

"What going on?"

"His back and now my families gonna be gone." Elara replied "Everyday, every since I joined the ranks, I live with one single vow, one promise to protect the family... that has been my job since I was 11 protect the family... How the hell am I suppose to do that?!"

"Your family, as much as I don't like it... none of us like it, your family is made up of survivors." Ray replied

"It is terrifying to see how much your willing to do for your family." Sonny replied

"When it comes to your family, your all ruthless and cold and will do anything to protect them." Trent replied

Elara gave them a small smile and walked away heading to the roof

"Your daughter needs her dad this time Jace." Ray reminded me gently "I don't think Clay will be able to fix this."

"What do I say to her."

"Anything, she just needs her father."

On the roof

Elara sat with her feet curled underneath her as she clutched the locket around her neck as she looked out over the city

Flashback:

An 11 year old girl sat on the roof overlooking the sands as the sky began to turn a red and the sun slowly set, she let a shiver out just as man walked by gently laying a jacket over her, she smiled putting his free hand on his as he leaned down kissing her head and walked away.

"Would you mind some company?" A woman asked as she sat on the ledge beside her "Aurelia's crying for her mother..."

"I don't think I'm good company for her at the moment." She replied with a small smile "How do you continue...."

"Do you know why I picked you?"

"Not really?"

"I saw you and what you could do and I thought you could would be the great number 1."

"Am I?"

"Of course you are, I've seen the way you are, your a great leader and an amazing mother to the two beautiful children. But this is one thing that you need to remember something... something that number 1 has to always remember...."

She looked to the woman

"Everyone that is a member of this unit, is unit is your family, they will always be there for you so it is your job to protect them."

"I don't know if I can...."

"You did, when push comes to shove you were there, you fought to protect this family... you were on the roof protecting the team when they came under fire." Celeste reminded "You continuously show your commitment to this team and this family."

"Hey..." Clay smiled as he walked on to the roof with baby Bash in his arms "This little one... wanted to see his mummy..."

Elara smiled at Clay before opening her arms up as Clay sat the baby inside

"Hello little one, oh mummy missed you today..."

She moved back a bit, taking her son safety away from the ledge she sat on to stand safely behind the walls and taking to him

"This, my little love is a sunset..." She smiled talking to her child as she protected him from the winds, both facing the setting sun

Flashback over
Jason POV:

"Protect the family, protect the family...." Elara continuously whispered as she watched the sunset tears pooling in her eyes "I'm trying Celeste, I really am..."

"Hey..." I spoke and she got spooked flinching as she looked over to me "I'm sorry I didn't mean to scary you..."

At Home

Emma POV:

We sat in Naima lounge with the kids and Becca who played with the younger ones but Bash sat away from the others looking at a photo in his hands

"Hey Bash, wanna play with me?" Jameelah asked and Bash looked up at the smiled girl shaking his head before going back to looking at the photo

"Hey can I take a look?" Naima asked him with a smile, offering her hand

He nodded handing the photo over and once it left his hands he held them both lap looking at the floor

"Is this your parents?" Naima asked pointing at Clay and Elara "Mummy and daddy?"

He nodded not looking up

"Your mummy beautiful and your daddy very handsome." Naima commented "And these are your siblings huh?"

"Aurelia..." Bash spoke pointing at her in the photo behind pointing at her in the room "Twin..."

"Aurelia's your twin huh." Naima smiled "I didn't know that. And who's this?"

"Amaryllis... Ames..."

"Bash are you bothering Aunt Naima?" I asked

"Not at all, his been nothing but a darling." Naima replied with a smile

"Can we call mummy..." Bash asked

"Sure buddy."

In Boston

Sonny POV:

Lisa came running over

"Naima got a surprise for all of us, she's on call."

In the office

Elara and Clay smiled as they saw their eldest on screen

"Hey buddy, have a good day?" Clay asked

Elara signed over to their son with a smile 'Hello, my darling did you have good day?'

"Hi mummy..." He said and shocked the rest of us

"He can talk..." I whispered to Trent who elbowed me

"Hi baby." Elara smiled trying to keep the tears at bay "How was today?"

"The others are playing and I spoke to Aunty today."

"That's fantastic baby, We're so proud of you." Elara smiled as she held Clay hand

"What'd you talk about buddy?"

"About my siblings, Ames was playing today...." Bash smiled as he talked to his children while his parents smiled over to them before finishing his talk and his siblings came into talk to him

"Okay buddy, it's almost bed time." Clay replied

"Okay, I love you babies." Elara smiled blowing him a kiss "Time to go to bed."

"Goodnight daddy."

"Goodnight." Clay smiled waving

"Goodnight angels." Clay smiled "We'll see you when we're back."

"Sleep well my loves and be good for you aunts alright." Elara smiled blowing them kisses before the screen went dark "He spoke!"

She turned quickly throwing her arms around Clay who caught her lifting her off the ground
