Back at the house
Ray POV:
"So are you guys staying here?" Johnny asked avoiding the death stare Sonny had been giving him for the past few days
"Yea, Clay still has to get a bigger apartment and I need to find a job, plus we've got to decide on schooling since we can't home school them here."
"Our current curiculum doesn't fit here." Clay commented
"You can stay with us." Jason replied "We thought you'd stay with us?"
"That reminds me." Elara replied looking at Clay "We need to go to city hall and file an appliance for marriage."
"Yea, we can do it tomorrow and then on Saturday you and I need to check out an apartment." Clay replied shrugging off his jacket
"Wait hang on!" Jason yelled getting up from his seat "Apartments? Marriage?"
"Yea, technically we're married in Afghanistan but since we're here we're going have to have it legally recorded." Elara replied
"And then the adoption papers."
"Hang on, why are you going married?"
"So that the children will always be okay, if we're married Elara and the kids get my pentinal and anything else I have."
"Clay and the kids will get my savings and everything I have." Elara replied
"It's to make sure that the kids are going to be alright." Clay explained before getting up and helping Elara get up heading to check the children
The next morning
Naima POV:
"I can't find the quaduplets." Ray called coming out the room "The kids are here but they aren't."
The door opened
"When have you been?" Ray called only to see Astrid who looked confused taking out her earbuds
"Umm... hi?"
"Sorry I thought you were one of the quadruplets?"
"No, Marco left for a run, Jac gone over to help Elara and so has Luca and Stefan, I've only just finished a run myself."
"Auntie...." Jasper yawned walking up to her with his arms raising
"Oh well good morning, little one." She smiled picking him up and kissing him on the head before shifting him to sit on her hip "Did you sleep well?"
"When are we going home?"
"We're gonna be here for awhile love." She replied "But you've got Daddy, Auntie Elara, and we'll be able to go and visit Uncle Johnny and Auntie Becca."
"And Uncle Clay?"
"When his not working..." She replied "How about we go get breakfast?"
"There breakfast here if you want some." I offered
"I don't want to intrude..."
"No, you won't be." I smiled "Come seat down."
She put Jasper on one of the chairs but he didn't want to sit there, playing with his food looking at her ever second
"Come here minster." She smiled and he had a giant grin as he got up and walked towards his her sitting on her lap
She smiled taking a bite and offering he one as he looked unsure
"It's okay, I ate it baba." She replied holding out the fork to him and he took a bite before taking the fork and eating just as the door opened "Marco."
"Hey." He smiled coming in and taking out his earbuds "Looks like monkey's up."
He came to the table leaning down and kissing Astrid head before doing the same to Jasper ruffling his hair "I'll go get the twins."
"Hey Naima?" Astrid asked turning to play to me
"Yea?"
"I was wondering if you know any good school around here." She asked offering an olive branch
Ray POV:
Naima was shocked but quickly recovered and agreed "Yea, yea of course. We can go today if you want..."
"That would be good, the kids need to catch up with the regular curriculum." She replied looking back at Jasper "You done baby?"
He smiled at her looking at her and nodding as she put him on the ground "Alright minster go brush your teeth."
"How cold is it outside right now Marco." She asked as he came out with the twins
"Not really why?"
"I need to get Jasper ready and I don't want him to overheat or catch a cold."
She came out with a bomber jacket "This?"
"No, just bring on of his jackets in the bag." Marco replied as he held Soraya as well as held Nyssa hand bring them both to the table
"Will the attend the same school?" Astrid asked
"I don't know." Naima replied
"Auntie can you do my hair today?"
"Of course." She smiled "Eat your breakfast first kay?"
Nyssa nodded and began eating quick causing Marco to laugh and she grinned shaking her head
"Slow down, your not in a race." She reminded before going to Jasper "Marco shorts or pants?"
"Pants." He replied "What's he doing?"
"I wanna dress like daddy." Jasper called
"Marco?"
"Cargo pants." Marco called out
"Marco are you wearing your jacket today?" Astrid called
"Yea." Marco called back "Astrid wanna switch?"
"In a minute."
"I can look at the twins while look you go take a look." I offered he looking unsure but agreed
"I'll just be a minute." He replied getting up and going to the room, Marco came back ready to go while his son came out with the same outfit
"Look Auntie... look I look like daddy." Jasper shouted as he came out
"You do baby." She smiled as he ran to hug her "Between you and me I think you might be more handsome."
Marco rolled his eyes smirking before taking Jasper so Astrid could get the girls ready. The twins came back with Astrid
"Are you ready?" Marco called to Astrid
"No, I don't have the kids lunches." She replied "And I want Jasper and the girls to have hats."
Half an hour later we they headed out, Marco held Soyara while holding Jasper hand and Astrid came out with Nyssa on one side while she held four backpacks and a purse when her phone went off
"Marco!" She called and he came back going through the bag and picking out the phone holding it for her to unlock it before reading the text
"It's Elara she need me to go over a few things."
"Right now?" Astrid replied
"I tell her I'll do it later."
"Hun if your need now, you can go." She replied
"I don't wanna leave you to do it your own."
"I'll have Naima helping me right?" She asked
"Absolutely." Naima replied
"I'll see at lunch alright." He replied handing Jasper to her as she had already finished strapping Nyssa and Soraya in, leaning down he kissing both girls on the head "I love you both be good for Auntie."
He then got out of the car bring Astrid and Jasper in a hug kissing both their heads "I love you, be good for auntie." before turning to Astrid "I'll see you at lunch."
She nodded and smiled "Be safe."
