Chapter 13

"Ang landi niyong dalawa!" Rocco said as we got home in their unit.

It much bigger now than the other unit that they had last year. May budget na kami para mailipat sila sa mas maayos na unit eh.

Pero! I wasn't expecting anything to happen a while ago. Ni hindi nga ako nag expect na magiging kami ni Keith in the first place.

I mean, I didn't look at him as a lover because he's my bestfriend since day one!

"Inggit ka lang, Rocco." Keith said as he walked towards me and kissed the top of my head.

"PDA!!!" sigaw ni Rex nang binagsak niya ang kanyang katawan sa sofa.

"Rex! Huwag ka ngang sumigaw at baka may makarinig sayo." pagalit kong sabi sa kanya.

Natawa lang naman si Keith dahil sa sinabi ko kahit wala namang nakakatawa.

"Walang makakaalam nito, Lei. Trust me." he said then he kissed me in my cheek.

This whole relationship was unexpected to me since I grew up with him as my bestfriend, not some guy who I dreamed of having a relationship with.

Mommy and Manuel knew about this. Of course, my brother didn't approve this kasi una palang sinabihan niya ako pero hindi lang ako nakinig sa kanya.

Wala naman sigurong mawawala, hindi ba?

I mean, their band was going well for almost three years now. Yes, two years had past and many things are going on our lives. Unti-unti na ring umaabot sa ibang bansa ang kanilang mga kanta.

As for me, unti-unti na ring lumalala ang sitwasyon ko at halos araw-arawin ko na ang pag punta sa clinic ni Jorge.

"You looked tired, is Mau going to get you here?" Keith asked me as the five of us are eating our late dinner.

"Ahh. Hindi. Sa unit ako matutulog dahil maaga pa ako bukas para sa first subject namin." sabi ko sa kanya.

"Are you sure you don't want to pass your job to someone else? You're becoming busy in your studies." Keith said as I was washing the dishes and he's just watching me.

"Hindi nga sabi. Can you imagine your life without me as your manager? Ha?"

He scoffed and said, "If you're worrying about us not getting along with a new manager, then don't worry about that."

Napalingon ako dahil sa sinabi niya. Well, come to think of it mukhang naging close na rin naman sila sa ibang staff namin. Kaya hindi malayong mangyari ang magkasundo sila ng papalit sa akin.

"Okay. I'll think about it."

Twelve in the midnight, Keith walked me at my unit. He walked inside, just at the door way so other people won't see us.

He hugged me tight and I hugged him back. I felt him kissed my head and I just giggled because of that.

"Sleep tight, my Riri." he said as he walked out my unit.

The next days was unexpected. I got busy with my schoolworks and I can't go to some of the boys' activities. Naghahanap na rin si Mommy nang papalit sa aking Manager para makapag-focus daw ako sa eskwela.

Pumayag ako doon. Na mag hanap sila ng kapalit pero hindi ko pa sila kayang iwan. Nasanay na rin ako na ako ang nag-aalalaga sa kanila kahit pa minsan, hindi na nakakabuti sa sitwasyon ko.

I was about to go out of our campus and hang with my friends at the café near our when I saw a familiar car waiting outside. 

"What did I say about going out in public!?" I hissed at Keith when I knew he was the one waiting inside the car.
