Hope Mikaelson has a twin, Kara, but they were not equal. Sure they were sisters, but Hope was clearly the favourite. So after her father threatens her life, Kara decides it's the last straw and gets out, ending up in Beacon Hills.
Kara Mikaelson, older twin of hope, was forgotten. Her family didn't love her, not as much as Hope. Not even when She started to show potential for magic or when she triggered her werewolf gene. Kara is a tribrid but hasn't activated her vampire side first. She is the complete opposite to her sister Hope. Hope liked art but Kara liked books and she was invested in her studies. Hope would always boast about how powerful she was and the Mikaelsons backed her up 100% of the time, even though Kara could spell circles around her twin. Even though her family wasn't bothered about her, she had hoped to be apart of always and forever.... one day.
