i don't get why some americans shit on other americans for saying they want to move to canada.

those people tend to go to say that canada's discriminative towards indigenous people. it's awful, ik, but no one is claiming that canada is this perfect country.

tell me one country that hasn't done anything shitty or doesn't have any unjust or discriminatory laws/procedures.

canada is still way less problematic. a lot of people are actually happy to live there, there's better healthcare, it's a lot safer, the environment is healthier, and it has a good reputation worldwide.

canada is, again, not perfect, but it's definitely the lesser of two evils. ofc it's idealized cuz it's so much better than what we're used to in america, and we know it.

you can get annoyed with all the people that say they want to move there, but you gotta think about canada in comparison to other countries.
