most people in my class don't read very well out loud.

not in the sense that they can't read in general, but they're so,,, monotonous when they read. they also don't pause in sentences where they should, so the sentence structure sounds weird out loud sometimes.

to give them credit where credit is due though, when we have to read out loud, we're reading something we haven't read before, which ik can impact the way you read a bit.

casey and justin are a couple of the better readers in our class. their tone varies appropriately.

i'm not trying to shit on my classmates btw. it's just a bit of a struggle for me to listen to them read without getting a bit uncomfortable.

i'm very weird about sounds.

there was one song where the intro was a noise that kept switching back from the right ear to the left, and it was so overwhelming that i couldn't keep listening to it past that.
