i'm gonna be going to a blood drive for my first time to donate this week.

i'm gonna try my best to be prepared. making sure i eat more, taking iron supplements every morning, drink more water, etc.

my body's always handled getting my blood taken fine,,, but i can only remember it actually getting taken a few months ago.

oh shit, wait, i think that was before quarantine. i don't remember me having to wear a mask or anything.

my memory is so shit omg. why do i remember it being a few months ago??

anyway, the nurse took blood with the needle at least twice. i was chillin, but ik that blood donations have you give more than that. pretty sure mine was just enough for a vial or something similar.

i wonder if i'll get to figure out my blood type. no one in my family knows theirs.

we also get a free test to see if we have covid antibodies. i've only heard of my mom's friend figuring out she has them.

casey and marie (classmate) are the only other people in my class who ik are donating too, but some other classmates are volunteering to help with the drive.
