It's been two weeks since I've met the Kamado family, and I've been living with them for that time, Tanjiro's mom willing to let me stay after hearing that I have nowhere to go.
In return, I'd do housework for her, not because she would tell me to, but just because I was grateful for her kindness and hospitality, willing to take me in with open and warm arms.
The siblings and I grew closer, and although I didn't look like them, they treated me as if I was one of their own, even calling me onee-san.
Nezuko and Miss Kamado helped me sew myself a warmer and longer robe so I could spend time outdoors, and that helped me and Nezuko bond even more as she properly taught me how to sew.
I was the same age as her brother, and whenever she could, she would proudly declare that she had the best older siblings.
Me and Tanjiro also grew close, seeing as we'd both go into town together to sell firewood and charcoal. It took a while for people to get accustomed to me, but they grew to like me about as much as Tanjiro after seeing how well we got along.
The two of us were practically birds of a feather at this point.
Speaking of which, right now, me and him prepared to go into town again to sell some charcoal.
"That's the last of it." I say, dusting my hands off as I finished loading our baskets.
"Oh dear."
Both our heads turn to Miss Kamado, innocently looking at her.

"You two have soot all over your faces, come here."
We Both make our way toward her, and when we were close enough, she wiped our faces with a clean cloth.
"Thank you, Miss Kamado." I smile, to which she pats my head.
"You know, you kids really don't have to go, so much snow could be dangerous."
Tanjiro smiled. "I want us to have a good New Year's celebration, where everyone can eat as much as they want."
"So, me and Tanjiro are planning on selling all the charcoal we can. That's why we split in two baskets, so we could be twice as fast."
