○ "The Scent of Enchated Blood." ○

1st Person POV
So many people around us! We need more space! But I can't let go now!
"Tanjiro! Hold him down for me, okay?!"
He turns back around and nods, and my only choice is to airbend everyone away with a small tornado around us.
"Everyone stand back!"
"You two! Get away from that man!"
"Ngh! We can't! Get restraints quickly!"
Tanjiro struggled against the demon.
I keep them at bay with airbending as best as I can, but the stress of the situation almost makes it difficult.
"Please, gentlemen! We're Demon Slayers! This man is a demon!"
"Don't come any closer! This person hasn't killed anybody yet and we won't let him!"
Tanjiro yelled, struggling against the demon, meaning I had to help.
I drop my airbending and help Tanjiro, the men tugging at us to get us off.
"He could hurt someone! Just get restraints!"
A sudden powerful smell floods over everyone, flowers appearing out of thin air as they surround us.
"Oh no... This can't be good..."
I sigh and look around, clearing the air around Tanjiro to help him identify the source.
We both see a woman come toward us, a man behind her, and I panic as I see blood dripping down her arm.
"Ma'am you're hurt-"
"I beg your pardon, but you said "person". Even though this peculiar person is a demon. And now you're trying to save him."
Her voice was soothing and calm, her expression following that same pattern.
She managed to heal herself, and nothing about her seems deceitful.
"Allow me to lend you a hand."
"Why in the world would you-!"
Tanjiro stops for a second.
"Your scent! I know what you are!"
"You do? I'm a demon."
Something about her made me raise my arm in front of Tanjiro, telling him to back down.
This woman could be trusted.
"But I am also a doctor. I want to help. I want to destroy Kibutsuji as well."
We both look at each other and nod, accepting her help.
We got back to the udon stand where we left Nezuko, Tanjiro getting an earful from the shopkeeper for running away.
I sat with Nezuko, who woke up and looked at me, then Tanjiro, awake and mildly confused.
"I'm so sorry! Can I please have another one?"
Tanjiro asked, whimpering almost.
"To eat?!"
"Yes!"
"Promise?
"I promise!"
