Laila wasn't going to give up . Even she was afraid , terrified but she couldn't let those barbarians to take them like that. She cursed the moment when she wanted to learn how to swing swords but her mother and father were adamant that this is not job of a princess . Now she is here , in the forest , on the mercy of some beasts and after that on the mercy of their alpha.
Suddenly Laila started screaming for help.
"Help"
" Help ! Anyone please save us "
The alpha made his guards clear that he don't want any intrusion of any other person. No local person should get killed. He just want the royal family members. One of the guards were holding Catylin and two other started to make Laila quiet.
The two were enjoying handling the beautiful princess , they started to touch her inappropriately. This made Laila scream higher and louder. One of the brothers, on seeing this scene , In forint of their eyes , got scared. He saw a hole in the ground , Just few feet away. He bit the guard who was holding him and ran for the hole. He thought that maybe if I get inside it I will be alive and can help my family.
The hard scream of the guard caught everybody's attention . The blood was oozing out from his hand from the place where the little one had bitten him. Few guards tried to catch him but he was quick. He was about to get inside the hole when a guard without any order, took an arrow out , aimed at Ethan and released it.
Laila , her other brother Noha was seeing this scene. No doubt , the guard had a great aim. The sharp arrow pierced his back and the front of arrow could be seen from his chest
" No !!! Ethan " screamed by Laila in disbelief
" Brother " said by a teary voice of little Noha
Ethan turned his head and saw his family for the one last time. Blood was coming out of his wounds. Ethan was almost there when this happened. His mind got blurry and he fell into the hole in the ground.
" Ethan "
"Ethan" this was all known to Laila at that time. She knew different types of wounds because of a boy she met few years ago. His name was Rob . he had great skills in everything. They both stated to like each other. The king Jorden on seeing this proximity , appointed rob as commander on the boarders. King Jorden was also impressed by the boys skills at the same time he wanted rob to stay away from his daughter so he came up with this solution of appointing him on the boarders to keep them secure and from that Laila haven't seen him or heard from him, in all these years , not even a letter
Rob told her about differ types of wounds and from that knowledge she knew that her brother Ethan is not going to live. He may be dead by now
" You idiot , what have you done . The alpha wanted them all alive . Now what we are going to say to alpha ? " said by the guard who was holding Laila all this time
" If the boy got out here alive then alpha would burn us all at stake " replied by the archer
No amount of energy was left in any of the royal members . They knew that this is no way out. So the all gave in . Laila didn't even speak a word after seeing the death of her brother. From the inside she knew that this was the end of all them. They are going to die from the hand of someone known as 'alpha'
The guards did exactly what they were told before . they chained the king Jorden in throne room. When Laila got back in the castle and saw the surroundings of the place which was her home , her heart broke into pieces. On the way back , Catylin gained her consciousness back and inquired about her son Ethan
" He is dead mom " said by Laila in a broken and heavy voice. It was difficult for Caylin to process the whole matter but she knew she is going to meet her son on the other side very soon. None of us is going to see the next dawn
On reaching the throne , Laila saw her father chained and the irony was it was his own throne room
" Father , father " Laila called him. King Jorden saw his family and once again something inside him broke.
The guards chained Catylin and Noha on the sides with Jorden and chained Laila in the center of room with a pillar as per orders. There was no more strength left in Laila so she sat down with the support of pillar. They chained her so hard that her wrists were hurting.
' The day has come when I will avenge the death of my father. I will take my revenge from those who caused me pain. Today , here , in this castle , the only thing that remains will be their graves. ' Gabriel thought on sensing his victory
On the way towards the throne room , his senses got higher which was unusual because he had a great control over everything. The feeling wasn't going away. On standing behind the throne room door , he smelled HER. Her scent was intoxicating. He hold the door by his hand to gave it a push to open it and fulfill his plans of revenge but behind the door , before opening he knew that this wasn't going to happen as he planed all those years. His future is waiting for him
His mate is on the other side of door and nothing can change this truth. He knew, once he will see her, in front of him , it will be difficult for him to control his wolf.
He opened the door and the first thing that came in his view was his mate. Sitting on the ground and lost in some thoughts
" Is she the princess Laila ? " he inquired from one of the guards who brought her here
" Yes alpha " replied by the guard
' Then she must have to die ' this was the last thought that came to his mind
