" You have my word " this time he replied and this made Laila smile. She nodded a little and said " Noha be strong , be brave . Good-bye mom , dad . I will see you all on the other side. I love ..." Gabriel didn't let her to complete the sentence and forcibly drained the liquid in her mouth
It's taste was bitter. She wanted to spit it out . sensing that Gabriel put his hand on the mouth of her and said " Gulp it down " Laila with no choice closed her eyes and let the liquid flow through her throat.
When Laila calmed , her senses began to shut and she felt like she was traveling on clouds. She felt light as a feather.
Gabriel again came close to her and whisper "You are not going to see anyone on the other side because you going to be in prison "
Laila eyes widened out , definitely not understanding the meaning but she knew that this won't go well and before she could respond with anything she fell into the darkness.
Gabriel put his hand on her neck for support. " Unchain her " he commanded. One of his guards started to unchain their future queen. In the mean time , he took the dagger and plunged into the heart of king Jorden without a word . In Catylin there was no energy left to even respond but her heart was bleeding on seeing her dead husband and daughter.
" Take this little one to the castle with us and she is going in the dungeons of eastern forest of mine . No one should know that their queen Catylin is alive and burn the king Jorden at stake so that everyone could see " Gabriel said this and moved towards his mate and scooped her in his arms and was about to move out when Catylin interrupted
" She is dead. Please bury her with dignity .Why are you still taking her ? " Catylin couldn't stop herself from asking the alpha
" She is not dead , just asleep and I am taking her for pleasures of all kind " Gabriel said this with a smirk and thought something which made his smirk grew larger
" Get the horses ready " Gabriel commanded
On the outside of the castle . he was about to mount on his when one his guards said " Alpha it will be difficult for you to ride such long with a person. Let me hold her and you go free " Gabriel saw lust clearly written on his face and at that moment he wanted to rip his heart out

" Don't question me again and do your job " Gabriel roared and mounted on his horse with his mate in his arms and went for town. It was in ashes but he made his speech
" Gather around everyone. " he roared
" Your false king and queen is no more. Your princes are dead. Before dying your king sold her daughter to me in order to save his own life. He was a cheater. These lands don't have anyone. You people are free to choose . If you want you can go now and live freely or you can be on my side and I will protect you from everything . I will provide you food and shelter. No person will be able to touch you under my command. The decision is yours .You can come with me in my homeland or you can die here in the remembrance of king who was sole a cheater. You choose " Gabriel voiced roared around. He saw someone coming forward . His guards tried to stop this
" Let him " Gabriel ordered
The old man came near him and replied respectfully " No , my lord , we don't want to suffer in this burnt down place. We declare you as our king "
The people knew that all of that wasn't true. He won't spare us. It's either him or death so they all knelt together
" We declare you as our king " these were the words which came out from mouth of the people.
" You all are welcome in my land " Gabriel said in an dominating voice and started to move forward.
'King Jorden is dead and his people are mine . My beautiful mate is in my arms who I will tame according to my will and kill when done. This is a victory ' Gabriel thought on the run , little did he know that this wasn't his completely victory but he was taking his downfall with him , in his arms, to his home.
