Chapter 15

Gabriel POV

She is innocent. She was innocent. She didn't deserve anything. It wasn't her fault. Her family has paid for their sins. It's time for us to move on. She was a princess and now she is my slave. I can't take this any longer. It gives me strange type of peace seeing her everyday. Even though she hates me I can sense it but Standing there , in my room , she makes me feel alive.

Whatever happened in the past is past now . No one can change it . Maybe i should forgive her for her father's crime and let her live her live , with me , in my room , besides me. But she doesn't feel a thing for me and that is because she is a human.

I can't mark her otherwise she will be in danger. My enemies will know about her , if I'd her mark then they will do everything to kill her. I just want to have her in my arms.

The least I can do is to try. Try to make some space in her heart for me . so that she will reciprocate my feeling. I'd have to patient with this. I have separated her from her family , this won't be easy.

At dinner, I asked her things and she refused them all. I don't know why but she seemed different tonight. It will take time to be normal. That's enough thinking for day. I should sleep now

I was engrossed in my thoughts when my I heard a knock on my door

" Come in " I said in a sleepy voice

" Alpha ! Ashley is here . she want to tell you something " the guard said while bowing

" Send her in " I replied

Ashley entered in my chamber and bowed

" What is it , at this time ? " I said confusingly

" Alpha , it's about her , Laila , the girl who you ordered me to be her friend " she said slightly worried

" What about her. Tell me now and cut the chase " I replied while standing from my seat

" She is leaving. She has found a tunnel in laundry room which leads outside. She is going to leave before dawn. " she said helplessly

I instantly mind-linked one of my guards to get me the map of castle with all secret passages

" She is in her room right now alpha. Aren't you going to stop her " she added with a confused expression

" No. let her feel some freedom. After that she will see hell and regret this decision of her " I replied in rage

One of the guards entered in my room with a map in his hand . I took and opened it on my table. I observed it and found the entrance of that tunnel.

My wolf was in anger. he couldn't believe that his own mate did this to him. He wants to teach her a lesson and this time I'm not going to forgive her . She will remember this pain for a long time.

" Get the horses ready. We will leave before dawn too "

" Guard ! there's one more thing I need you to do immediately. Get the boy out from dungeons " I commanded and few guards left immediately for preparation. I came outside , on my balcony

' I am coming for you my human , fragile mate. I am unable to kill you because of the bond but you will regret this decision of yours ' I thought before looking at the sky.
