"Oh you mean this brother" suddenly two guards entered in the room and they were holding a boy. The boy looked in bad shape when I observed him closely 'he was my brother'. His clothes were torn and face was dirty
"Noha" I whispered. The boy lifted his head and looked at me in disbelief.
''Laila" he said with a smile. He looked like he was starved for days. 'How cruel they are' , I thought
I tried to move my place in order to get close to him , to hug him but his guard caught me again and kept me in the same position where I was before.On the other he tried but all of our efforts were vain. I couldn't help myself from screaming in pure agony
"Why? I exchanged myself for him and still you broke your promise and kept him your prisoner" I said in anger and disbelief
"Princess you exchanged yourself so that he may live but we didn't discuss where he will live" he said with a smile on his face , in a calm voice.
"How could you? Please free him " I said with tears pooling in my eyes.
He didn't reply me with anything. He just stood up and took the same dagger with which he killed my parents. He came In front of me and bent down . He held my jaw with his free hand in a tight grip. I looked in his eyes and felt something is about to come , something bad.
"You exchanged yourself for him. I spared his life. But now you have broken the deal." He said in a calm voice
"I'm sorry. I will never do that again. I will be your slave again. Please don't hurt us" I said scared for my life and Noha's too
"You won't learn the easy way , you need to be punished" he said with slight anger in his voice. There was no mercy in his voice.
He stood up and I closed my eyes , I waited for the dagger to be plugged into my heart but it never came. I heard the sound of boots retreating.
He was going towards Noha and a part of me knew what was going to happen now.
"Please please don't . I won't do that again . Please don't." this was all I could say
Without wasting a minute and any second thought , he grabbed him and plunged the dagger in his heart , in my little brother's heart.
"Noha" I screamed
This all felt like a déjà vu. I no longer want to live now. He killed them all. He will kill me too
