I'll go to you first
At the end of a different road
I'll wipe your cheeks that are
Wet with tears and ask you
— Tell Me What To Do, SHINee

The next day we went to the hotel. "Anything, Syd?" Felix asked as we stood outside.

"Um..." I started to look around and shake my head.

"Let's take her up to the hotel room," Hyunjin suggested.

"Good idea," Jisung spoke.

They led me inside the hotel. As I looked around, I realized how beautiful it actually was. I walked up the stairs with the boys and they showed me into the hotel room we stayed in.

"We'll show you the rest of the hotel later," Hyunjin said.

I nodded as I looked around. "Do you want us to give you some space?"

I shook my head as soon as Jisung asked. "No... maybe if you guys stay, it'll trigger a memory or something."

"Okay."

I stared blankly at the space, and something, suddenly, flashed in my mind.

"Syd...you in there?" A soft knock was heard at the door.

"Yeah, I'm coming." She said, rubbing her tired eyes. The girl stood up and walked over to the door. She opened it and there stood Jisung with a pouty face. She chuckled and give him a hug. "What's wrong, Ji. It's..." She looked back at the clock. "Five-forty-two in the morning."

Jisung sighed and pulled away. "I miss the guys." He said softly.

Sydney suddenly felt guilty. "Let's take a walk."

Jisung nodded and Sydney ran back into her room before grabbing a piece of paper and pen that was lying around. She wrote a quick note to Hyunjin, informing him of her whereabouts before looking over at the boy.

She chuckled, seeing him cuddled to his stuffed koala. She couldn't help but stare in awe at her best friend before placing a quick kiss on his forehead and ruffling his hair. She, then, placed the note on her bed and walked back to the door.

Her and Jisung walked out of the hotel, and down the lit streets of Jackson. It was silent until Sydney broke it by coughing.

"You okay?" Jisung asked.

"Sydney?"

I looked back at the boys. "I remembered something."

Their eyes widened. "What is it?" Hyunjin asked.

"Jisung..." I started. "Jisung came to my room really early. He said he missed the guys, s-so I wrote a note to Hyunjin before we went for a walk. Sadly, that's all..."

"It's okay," Felix said, offering me a smile. "It's progress. You're doing great."

I resisted the urge to say 'You're doing great, sweetie,' and walked over to the door. "Can we go somewhere else now? So I can try to remember something else?"

"Sure."

Jisung and led me down to the restaurant part of the hotel and he pointed at a table where there were at least five chairs.

My eyebrows furrowed. "We were here?" I asked.

He nodded and we all walked over to the table. "This is where we ate most days, and on one specific day, when called Minho, he was talking about Felix. You took off to your home," Jisung explained.

"Oh..." I muttered.

"That must've been when you called me," Felix said.

"I called you?"

He hummed.

"Oh..."

"What did I say?" I asked.

Felix cleared his throat and glanced away from me as he blushed. "You were checking up on me..."

I couldn't help but smile when he said that. "Well, I'm glad I did."

His eyes met mine and he smiled back at me.

"Okay. Come on, love birds," Jisung snapped us out of our moment. "Where to next?"
