Chapter 5

Your POV

After a couple of hours, I learned exactly what my quirk is. It's polarity. I am able to control metal with magnetism. Not a very flashy quirk, but then again I don't really like being flashy. Given a choice I'd rather be unseen.

"That's enough training for today. We'll start back again same time tomorrow. Also I will have your training work mapped out for the both of you," All Might told us.

"Ok. Hey Y/n can we walk home together since we live right across from each other?" Izuku sweetly asked with a face so red he'd put tomatoes to shame.

"Of course we can." I smiled. He's so cute when he blushes.

We said good bye to All Might and started walking home. Izuku started muttering to himself about how he needs to get stronger fast. I didn't want to be rude and interrupt so I just walked quietly beside him. After a couple of blocks I, once again lost in thought, bumped into someone.

"Sorry. Are you ok?" said a man holding his hand out for me to grab who looked an awful lot like Kirishima.

"I'm ok," I say as I grab his hand internally squealing at being able to meet Kirishima.

"Are you ok Y/n? I should have been paying more attention to you so I could have caught you," Izuku sadly said.

"It's ok. It's my own fault for not looking where I was going" I respond.

"My name is Eijiro Kirishima. What's your name?" He asked.

"My name is Y/n L/n and this is Izuku Midoriya. It's nice to meet you Kirishima."

We spend a couple more minutes talking to Kirishima before we leave so we could get enough sleep for the next day. Before we left we gave Kirishima both our numbers and he gave us his number. When we got back, we waved goodbye and went inside.

This was a good day. Not only did I meet Uraraka and Kirishima, but I got their numbers. I also have a quirk. I should probably practice with it so I know my limits.

Just then Uraraka texted.

Uraraka: Hey Y/n. Want to hang out soon? You seem like a nice person.

L/n: sure. I'll see when I'm free and get back to you as soon as possible :)

Uraraka: ok. I'll find us a cool place to hang out :)

L/n: sounds good

After I was done texting Uraraka, I fed Bubbles and took a shower. While in the shower, I hear my phone go off. I quickly finish, get dressed, and then go see what it was. It was a text from Izuku.

Midoriya: Today was fun. I can't wait till tomorrow.

L/n: Me too. I'm going to go to sleep soon so I'm not tired for tomorrow.

Midoriya: me too. Well goodnight then :)

L/n: Goodnight :)

Before I go to bed I watch a couple episodes of anime so I wasn't behind on anything. I made sure Bubbles didn't need anything before turning out the lights and getting in bed. Today was a fun day. I made two new friends which is weird cause I never make friends this fast usually. As I thought over all the good things that had happened today, I slowly drifted off to sleep.
