Your POV

According to the doctors, I could go home the day before the UA Sports Festival. Which would make the UA Sports Festival the first day back to school. Ya know if I listened to the doctors. I missed Bubbles too much to wait for the festival. So I came up with a plan wait for the doctors to leave me alone and then slip out the window.

I have to wait until dark so there's a less likely chance someone will visit or see me. It's a good thing I asked All Might to bring me my Eraserhead hoodie. It's black so it will be easier to blend into the night. I timed the gap in between doctors coming in to check on me. They come to check on me every two hours. I'm on the second floor so hopefully there's a bush or something for me to fall on.

All Might came to visit again while I was planing my escape. He said that all the paperwork was finished and all there was now was to wait for it to go through the computer. After that, I would officially be All Might's child. This kinda feels like a plot to a fan fiction. I wonder why?

It felt like forever until it was finally dark enough to finally put my plan to action. I was already wearing my hoodie so I just grabbed my phone and went to the already opened window. I looked down to see a conveniently placed bush. If I fall onto that, it won't hurt as much. Well I think anyway. I took a deep breath and jumped into the bush.

That wasn't too bad. I got stuck in the bush for a few minutes before rolling out of the bush. I probably have so many leaves in my hair. I looked up directions to my house because I have no idea how to get there from the hospital. The directions said that it would take 3 hours to walk there. My legs are gonna hate me later. I sighed and started my 3 hour walk.

One hour and many missed calls and messages later, I couldn't walk another step. I was currently just chilling in an alley trying to get the feeling back in my legs. A loud bang startled me and when I looked there was a giant shadow figure just standing there. The shadow figure walked closer. Maybe it doesn't see me. It stopped right in front of me. It was Chizome Akaguro aka the Hero Killer Stain.

"Are you ok?" He asked concerned bending down to look at me. "Are you hurt anywhere?"

"No. I'm just tired from walking," I said truthfully. Better to just stick close to the truth. I'm terrible at lying.

"Where are you walking to?"

"My house. It's about 2 hours walking from here," I explained.

"Why are you walking when it's so far away?" He questioned noticing my bare feet.

"I don't have a ride."

"Get up. I'll give you a ride," he said holding his hand out to me.

I sat there for a few seconds deciding on whether or not to take him up on his offer. I guess I can accept. He's not gonna try and kill me. He doesn't know that I'm a hero in training. And even if he did, it's not like I can die. "Ok," I say grabbing his hand.

"I have to get my car and get changed. Wait here," he told me.

"Ok," I respond as my stomach growls really loudly.

"I'll get you something to eat too kid," he chuckles.

"Thank you," I say gratefully waiting for him to come back.

When he gets back, he is wearing a hoodie and sweatpants. He picks me up and places me in his car giving me a bento box full of rice to eat. He apologized for only having rice but I didn't care I was hungry so I ate while he drove. It only took us 30 to drive to my house. During that time, we drove mostly in silence only talking when he asked why I was out there. I told him I was visiting family in the hospital and my ride decided to stay longer.

He didn't question me after that. Just let me stare out the window at the world passing by. My phone had been put on silence, but still lit up every few seconds with someone calling or messaging me. I just turned my phone completely off until he pulled up to my house. I got out and waved goodbye as he drove off. He's actually pretty nice for a hero killer.

I unlocked my front door and walked in to see Niko sleeping on the couch in different pjs than usual. Usually she would wear Eraserhead pjs but tonight she was wearing All Might pjs. I silently made sure Bubbles had food and water before turning on my phone to a lot of missed calls from All Might and all of Class 1-A. Guess I should tell them I'm ok. I sigh before opening up the group chat.
