I loved spending time with Shuri and T'Challa. They were amazing friends for cheering me up. The past couple of months of living in Wakanda have been wonderful, and the people there were so kind. Maybe I could ask T'Challa if I could continue my medical practice here.

That night...
I was missing Bucky, and I decided to go visit him in the lab. I took the elevator up and I scanned my kimoyo beads to gain entrance. There I saw Bucky still in the ice looking like he was sleeping peacefully. My heart still beat fast every time I saw him. I smiled and fought back tears that were threatening to escape. "Hey Bucky." I pulled up a chair and sat next to him. "I hope you're having wonderful dreams that are nothing but beautiful and happy." Tears were blurring my vision. "You deserve it after all you've been through." my voice broke as I wept. To be honest, I didn't know why I was crying. Bucky was getting the help he needed in order to live a healthy life. My heart was telling me this was real love, wanting him to get help and be happy. I went on telling Bucky about my day even though I knew he probably couldn't hear me. "Shuri beat us at laser tag and she wouldn't stop bragging about it the entire time we were watching The Notebook!" I chuckled to myself. "You would have loved it. All our problems seemed to fade away." I thought I saw him slightly smile in his sleep. I decided to sing our song to him:

Do I want to be with you
As the years come and go?
Only forever
If you care to know
Would I grant all your wishes
And be proud of the task?
Only forever
If someone should ask
How long would it take me
To be near if you beckon?
Off hand I would figure
Less than a second
Do you think I'll remember
How you looked when you smile?
Only forever
That's puttin' it mild
How long would it take me
To be near if you beckon?
Off hand I would figure
Less than a second
Do you think I'll remember
How you looked when you smile?
Only forever
That's puttin' it mild.

I smiled, kissed my fingertips, and softly touched the ice; right by his face. "I love you so much, Bucky. Always and forever."
