At the next day, after school, Luke and Zander went to the park where they talked about their days in school.
Luke remembered last year when Zander complained whether he was gay or European, which he was both. Luke also remembered when Zander got a leaf stuck on his hair, Zander pushed Luke away after that.
Autumn was the season Luke and Zander were really close.
While the two were walking, they felt the same cool, autumn breeze through the air.
Luke suddenly chuckled. "Remember the time when people thought you were gay or European?"
Zander growled. "Oh, don't even let me think about that time, Luke."
Luke chuckled.
"Hey, Luke.." Zander looked down. Luke looked up to him.
"Yeah, what's wrong?" Luke asked.
Zander looked up to Luke and gave him a warm smile, but Luke thought it was fake smile, which it was.
"I knew you had a crush on me..ever since we were kids..but, why me? And not anybody else?" Zander blurted.
Luke looked at Zander, confused and worried about what he was about to say. "W-what do you mean?"
"I-It's just; anybody would be a better option than me," Zander frowned, but tried to smile.
Luke surprised of what Zander said took his hands. "Hey.."
Zander started to cry. "Is this for real?..."
Luke wiped Zander's watery tears away and kissed him on the head. "Of course it is...I love you, Zander..in every season.."
Zander began to cry some more. "I love you too, Luke."
Then they embraced and their day was absolutley miraculous.
