A one shot of Amity coming out to her friends 😊

Amity was a nervous wreck. Today she would be having a sleepover at the Owl House with Luz, Willow and Gus. Not only would she be sleeping in the same room as her crush but she also decided tonight was the night she would come out. She has told Emira and Edric and they still love her unconditionally. Her parents were the ones she was worrying about though. Her parents were never that loving. She was hoping that if she told her friends she would have a little bit more confidence.

"You'll be ok Amity," Edric said. "I'm sure they'll accept you,"
"Yeah," Emira joined in. "As much as I hate to admit it Ed is right. They are never going to judge you. I mean Willow has two dads for titans sake, she's the last person to judge you."
"Thanks guys," I smiled at them.
"Just make sure you don't chicken out," Em joked.
"I'm not gonna chicken out!" Amity yelled and the twins laughed.

Amity began her journey to the Owl House. She couldn't help but think about Luz. What is she gonna say? Does she like girls too? Will she think I'm weird? A thousand thoughts swirled through her mind that she didn't even realise she had arrived at the Owl House until Hooty said hello to her.

"Hey Amity," Luz said while opening the door. "Come on in,"
"Thank you," Amity said as she walked in.
"Hey Amity," Willow greeted. Amity just smiled and waved as she sat down next to Willow.

-3 hours later-

The time flew by for the teens. Luz, Gus, Willow and Amity were in the living room in their pajamas playing all sorts of fun games. They were currently playing truth or dare.
"Truth or Dare Gus?" Luz asked him.
"Dare!" Gus exclaimed.
"I dare you to sit and talk with Hooty for 5 minutes," Luz said causing Willow and Amity to burst out laughing. Gus groaned but went on with his dare.

After 5 minutes Gus came back in, obviously annoyed, and slammed the door shut.
"Amity," Willow said turning to her after controlling her laughter. "Truth or dare,"
"Truth," Amity said.
"Who do you have a crush on?" Gus interjected before Willow could say anything.

Amity froze. She didn't know what to say. She couldn't tell them she had a crush on Luz when Luz
was right there.
"Um I-," Amity was at a loss for words. It wasn't just because of Luz being there. This whole coming out thing was harder than she thought.
"Is it that cute guy from your history class?" Luz asked.
'Did she just refer to a guy as 'cute'' Amity thought to herself. Amity frowned. She knew it. Luz didn't like girls. This caused Amity to start tearing up.

Her friends, upon seeing how upset she was, moved closer to her to comfort her.
"Amity what's wrong?" Luz asked holding her hand.
"I-I I'm just scared," Amity said.
"Scared of what?" Willow asked.
"That you'll hate me when you find out the truth," Amity replied while crying harder. "Titan knows my parents are going to disown me as soon as they find out,"
"Amity we could never hate you," Luz said giving her a comforting smile. "Just tell us what's wrong,"

"I-I'm a l-lesbian, I like girls more than I like guys," I said as I buried my head into my hands.
"Oh Amity," Luz said pulling her into a big hug. "There is nothing wrong with that. I'm bisexual so I also like girls,"
"Yeah we could never hate you for who you love," Willow said as her and Gus joined the hug. "Plus it was kinda obvious with the amount of gay panics you would have in a day."
"Willow!" Willow laughed at how flustered Amity had gotten.

"If you need help telling your parents you can always come to us," Gus said and Willow and Luz nodded in agreement.
"Thank you," Amity smiled, wiping her tears away.

"So how many gay panics are we talking about Willow?" Luz smirked causing Amity to blush, and secretly have another gay panic.
"I've lost count," This caused all of them to laugh.

"Yo kids," Eda said as she came down the stairs, half asleep and still in her pajamas. "Either keep it down or go to bed,"
"Sorry Eda," they all said.

As to not annoy the owl lady any further the teens decided to quieten down and read a book. Obviously Luz and Amity chose to read 'The Good Witch Azura,' together.

While Luz was quietly reading to Amity, Amity couldn't help but think about what Luz had told her. Luz did like girls which gave Amity a chance. Amity blushed at the thought.
"Hey Ami, you ok?" Luz asked. "You kinda spaced out there."
"Yeah I'm fine," Amity said sleepily.

Amity leaned her head onto Luz's shoulders and fell asleep. Luz started to blush as Willow smirked at her.
"So now you know she likes girls," Willow teased.
"Looks like you've actually got a chance," Gus smirked.

This caused Luz to bury her head in her book as her face went red.
"But how do I know she likes me back?" Luz whispered.

Willow face planted herself and Gus just sighed and shook his head.
"Maybe we should go to bed now," Gus said getting under his sleeping bad.
"Yeah," Willow said. "Goodnight Luz,"
"Goodnight guys," Luz said putting her book down.

She laid down on the sofa with Amity snuggling into her. She rested her head on Amity's and smiled.
"I really like you Amity," Luz whispered as she drifted off but little did she know Amity was awake and screaming internally the entire time.
