When it comes to you, there's no crime. Let's take both of our souls, and intertwine ~ Justin Beiber

That's our birthday look up there😊❤
Yes. It's our birthday😏

"Suzie! Someone's at the door." Mom shouted from the Kitchen.

"I'll get it!" I shouted back and went to the door.

I unlocked the door and opened it, only to be met with that face that I hated seeing.

"Suzie!" He called.

"Dad...." I said breathlessly.

He was the last person I expected to see standing at our door.

"Happy birthday." He said and held out a box and a bouquet.

"What're you doing here?" I said sternly.

I was tempted to slam the door right in his face but I controlled myself.

I could see my face right on his. I hated the fact that I looked so much like him. He was just like an older male version of me. Why didn't I just look like mom?.

"Baby... Who is it?" My mom said, appearing behind me.

She gasped and covered her mouth with her palm.
"Stanley..."

"Mabel... Please, let me come in..."

The kind of guts he had!

"No. You're not allowed here!" I shot back.

"Susan!..." Mom snapped.

"Mom!"

"Let him in."

"But..."

"I said let him in!" She said in a firm tone.

I sighed and stepped aside for dad to come in. I closed the door after he came in. He went to the living room with mom while I trailed behind them.

"So why are you here?" Mom said, hugging herself.

Who wouldn't develop a cold after seeing someone who decided to turn you into a punching bag.

"It's Susan's birthday. I brought a present."

"I don't want it." I said as calmly as I could.

I just couldn't wait for him to leave our sights, never to be heard from again.

"Drop it." Mom said, making me roll my eyes.

He dropped the wrapped box and bouquet on the table. It angered me to see him acting all calm. If I didn't know better, I'd have said he was the nicest man.

"Can you leave now?" I said, earning a glare from my mom.

"Mabel.... I got a house here....for us, and Susan... and Ruby too. You should move in with me."

I scoffed.

"So you'd be able to turn us all into punching bags?!" I snapped.

"I'm sorry for everything, Mabel. I regret everything I did. Mabel, I love you. I can't do without you."

I would've said 'awwwn', but I knew better.

"I'm not going anywhere with you." Mom said firmly.

That's my Mom.

"Please, Mabel."

"I'm not going anywhere. Please leave if you're done."
