CHAPTER - 27

As soon as I reached his room. I knocked on his bedroom's door.

I heard a gruff 'come in'. I opened the door and saw Emilio sitting on his bed with his laptop on his lap.

I grumbled something incoherent under my breath.

I straightened up my back and looked at Emilio trying to be intimidating.

But I failed miserably.

I huffed and asked, "Our time?" then I looked away for some effect.

Lol!

For the first time I think Emilio look like he has no idea where this conversation would be going.

He nonetheless cocked his eyebrows up indication for me to 'explain further'.

I faked a sob and said, "You didn't have any time for me. You own sister. You used to be there with me before. But now. Now it's all different." I exasperated dramatically.

Emilio chuckled and muttered 'dramaqueen' under his breath.

I narrowed my eyes at him and said, "I heard that."

He narrowed his eyes at me back and said, "That's good."

I scoffed and said, "See, it's true." and then I dramatically tried to turn away slowly.

But Emilio grabbed me by my waist and pulled me beside him on the bed.

I squealed in surprise "Leo" and then giggled.

Emilio chuckled and asked, "Where's this act going? What do you want Ella?"

I gasped in mock offence and said, "You are my bro Leo. Can't I jsut come and spend some time with you. " I said all this while wiping an imaginary tears away from the corner of my eyes.

Emili smilingly shook his head and said, "Of course"

I grinned up to him and looked at what he was doing on his laptop before.

I gasped, "You play chess."

"Yeah. Any problem." Emilio said while narrowing his eyes up to me.

"No. No. No. Why would I have any? When I got a chess buddy."

Before he could say anything I got up and left his room running saying, "Wait!"

I came back with a chessboard and excitedly said, "Let's play" 

After some time.

Or should I say after losing 5th match.

"You're cheating" I said pointing an accusing finger at Leo.

"No I'm not."

"You are."

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

"Yes"

"Ella is a loser?"

"Yes" I said absent-mindedly.

When I realised what I said I looked at Leo wide-eyed.

"You! You tricked me." I said to him while pouting.

While he just laughed at my foolishness.

"How did you do it?" I asked him

"What?" He asked back.

"How can you play it such well?" I said while pointing towards chess.

"Practice and this" He said while pointing towards his brain.

I narrowed my eyes at him but quickly composed myself as I know I need him when I ask him my next question.

"Will you please teach me?" I asked him with my best puppy dog eyes with my bottom lip poking out.

Emilio looked at me wide-eyes and said,"You little!"

I squealed as he started tickling me.

"No!" I screamed.

"P-pleasseeee..S.st...stop."

"Leeeeooooo"

Soon he stopped after looking at my red face after lauging so much.

Emilio chuckled at my red-face.

I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Okay. Okay. I will teach you." He said.

I got excited and started jumping up and down on his bed.

"But-"

I stopped.

"Only when I get free time"

I groaned.

"You hardly get any free-time. You are always busy in work." I said to him.

"I will try to make some time for you, Babygirl." He said.

"Promise.?" I asked him while moving my pinky-finger up towards him.

He looked at me confused.

I just shook my head at his foolishness and took matter in my hands.

I grabbed his pinky and entwined it with mine and then asked again, "Promise?"

He chuckled while looking at me with adoration and said, "Promise"

Soon after that I don't know when I fell asleep with Emilio.

But I heard him say, "Love you Sorella"

I just snuggle closer to him and fell asleep at that instant.
