"Wake up."

"Wake up." Someone whispers.

Effectively calling me awake. Just 30 more minutes would suffice. I can't go back to sleep, so I rollover. Looking up at the ceiling. The unfamiliar room blurry as my eyes begins to focus. I feel someone beside me.

"Morning, little one."

Turning over I encounter a man. Sitting looking down at me. A subtle smirk on his face. At first glance he's older than me, maybe twice my age. His clear skin is free of any blemish or impurity. Melted Chocolate brown eyes scrutinize my face as if analyzing every detail. His head of thick black hair shiny while reflecting the morning ray without any grays.

Who is he? Why is he looking at me? Most importantly why did he wake me?

The polite thing to do when someone says good morning is to say it back but I don't. Not because I'm impolite but I'm afraid if I open my mouth no sound will escape. I haven't spoken in a long time. I may not know how to after so long. Do I still even have a voice?

He remains quiet, probably waiting for me to say it. He'll be waiting a million years for the phrase. I turn over to try and go back to sleep. He doesn't allow it.

"It doesn't hurt to say good morning. You can talk to me, I don't bite."

I shake my head. I refuse to talk to him, to talk to anyone for that matter. What does he want? I was doing fine before. He tilts his head watching me. At the same time, I stare back annoyed. When his intent doesn't falter, I point to my lips then make an X with my fingers. Hopefully, he'll understand what I'm getting at. I don't talk. He doesn't need to know I can.

His perfect face takes on a pitiful expression. I feel nothing at it. One thing though he's one good looking man. I'm sure he has a bunch of women vying for his attention.

"Do you want breakfast?"

I do. But I want to sleep even more. I nod yes because it's probably too late for me to sleep now. He gets up and puts out his large hand for me to take. Holding it my smaller hand is dwarfed by his. When I stand I realize how extremely big he is and tall. I'm short but I haven't felt this small since meeting my 'father.' I haven't grown since then.

I'm 5'2 tiny with a boy shaped figure from not enough nutrition. Being here for a while might finally put some meat on me. He heads into the bathroom not letting go. I'm left by myself for a second while he pulls out a new toothbrush and adds toothpaste. He hands it to me.

I brush my teeth under his inspection. Rinse then leave the toothbrush on the side. Before we leave I use the toilet. This time he turns away. I wash my hands then we head out the room.

"My name is Mathias."

That's his name. Mathias heads Into the kitchen. He points to a chair at the Island. I sit watching him go about preparing breakfast. I wonder where is the lady from last night? The one who showered and help clothed and fed me. She's really nice. I didn't get her name.

"What would you like, little one?"

Why does he keep referring to me as a little one? I have a name. Its Zina. Mathias stops his shuffling facing me. For a moment he seems to remember I don't speak. He comes around the island.

"Give me a second. I have the perfect idea."

Mathias goes off. What is he doing? He's kind of weird. I wish I would talk because there are so many questions I'd like to ask. The first being is he the one who bought me? Why for what purpose? How long am I going to stay here? What will I do while I'm here?
