It was the new years.
Mr. Tanaka had
the great idea to celebrate it at Sunrise. Once the sun would come up, well use noisemakers to celebrate.

Cream was reluctant at first not wanting to "scare the sun away".
But her mom, who appeared in this world a few days ago, told her, that the sun will be happy to get a nice welcome.

" Okay, let's get ready.
We will pull the strings all together. I will give you a signal as soon as the sun comes over the horizon" Mr. Tanaka held up a confetti poper.

"A few seconds more. The sky is getting lighter... Lighter... It's almost here. Get ready... Go!"
You all pulled the strings. The sky went dark all of a sudden.

"What the?" You questioned.

"That doesn't look like the sun" Cream cried.

"It looks like a solar eclipse!"

Sonic looked over at you.

"What?"
You raised an eyebrow.

"You always do weird stuff durring an eclipse. Lunar or Solar" he frowned

"What?"

"Never mind"

It all seems suspicious.
Eggman rebuilt the moon as an apology for what he had done to it...
That's like putting a bandaid on a broken window.

I mean he could've tried to make it appear like it was before.
But No.
It just half moon, half robotic stuff.

So Eggmoon, or however do people call it.
Apparently it went out of orbit,
'By Accident'.

Yeah right.

Eggman claims he's not controlling it.

Yeah well I guess the moon just decided to move with the sun.

Seriously does he think he can fool people like this?
It's impossible for the moon to go out of its orbit when it wants.
Basic astronomy anyone?

Eggman then invented something called the 'Sunshine ball'.
Artificial sunlight.

It seems harmless but surely this has to be a trick.

Like...uhhh.
I don't know.
Hypnotizing people to do his work or something.

Sonic was handling it differently.
He destroyed the mirror tower.
Well he could just tell everyone that Eggman was doing all this for fame or something.
But when you yourself tried to explain in to the others they dismissed it as nonsense.

So you decided to help Sonic take the mirror towers down.

You ran with Sonic to destroy another tower.
Oh lookie, the police are here to stop you.
You jumped over them and spindashed through the tower and took it down immediately.
Sonic took down the other two, and than you both ran away.
