Anidita: Responsibility Or Love?

Chapter 14: Raged Anirudh

As morning arrived, Anirudh with Sumati maa rushed to the hospital. He thanked Sampurna for taking care of Bondita. Doctor arrived and informed them that Bondita's had speedy recovery and so they can take discharge from hospital in afternoon itself. Anirudh, Sumati maa and Sampurna got delighted with the news. As they were preparing for Bondita's leave from the hospital a constable came in and informed that the couple have to come to the police station for their statement against Adinath, Parvati and Sumukh. As the couple heard the news the both looked at eachother with a confident look. Anirudh asked Sumati maa and Sampurna to leave for home while he and Bondita will return back after paying a visit to police station.

Its was evening when Anirudh and Bondita reached police station. They both gave the statement while the police attorney told them that with the help of their statements Adinath and Parvati would be minimum 10 years behind the bars.

"With attempt to murder and kidnapping can you put one more accusation on Mr Adinath, Barrister?" - Bondita looking confidently towards Adinath

Bondita's words surprised Anirudh.

"You know better than me barrister Bondita, what accusation you want to file against Mr Adinath?" - Police Attorney

"For sexual harassment!" - uttered Bondita being in her full senses.

"What are you saying Bondita! Did this filthy man tried to force you..." - uttered raged Anirudh

Anirudh in his anger went to the prison cell where Adinath was kept and grabbed his collar.

"You filthy man, how dare you!" - Anirudh

Bondita with Attorney and cops rushed to stop Anirudh.

"Pati babu, leave him! He didn't do anything to me. He just said that I should be thankful that I am married otherwise.." - Bondita

After listening to Bondita's words Anirudh grabbed Adinath's collar more tightly which was about to make him breathless.

"Otherwise.. otherwise what you will do!" - uttered raged Anirudh

"Otherwise she would have warmed my bed that night. Every inch of her skin.. ah.." - said Adinath grining in order to test Anirudh's patience.

"How dare you use such words for Bondita!" - Anirudh

Anirudh left Adinath's collar rather he grabbed his neck instead.

"Bondita is my wife! Sirif mera, Anirudh Roy Chaudhary ka hak hai uspar. (Only I, Anirudh Roy Chaudhary have rights over her) and if anyone try at least look at her with his filthy gaze. I will struck out his eyes!" - uttered raged Anirudh

Anirudh's words regarding his possessiveness towards Bondita struck straight in her mind for few seconds.

"Leave him Pati babu, he is just trying to make you angry!" - uttered Bondita to calm Anirudh

"Yes Anirudh babu leave him, have trust in me I will make sure he will get severe punishment for his deeds." - Attorney

"Let me tell you one thing Adinath, everytime when people like you come in this world who will try to act filthy enough then everytime you will see a man like me who will always protect her." - said Anirudh and left Adinath's collar

"Why to wait for a man Pati babu! I will make sure that every single women in this country will get her own voice to stand agajnst injustice and fight like a lioness. Not only for my family but also for this purpose I came back to my country, for this change I came back to India." - uttered Bondita confidently

Bondita's words reminded Anirudh of that day when he uttered the same words while saving a poor thirsty man. He smiled proudly looking at Bondita. Indeed he was very proud of her, for what she has turned out to be. From a timid young girl who used to question every now and then, now has been grown up into a women who can not only stand for her ownself but also for the society and bring in the change which Anirudh always hoped for.
