Chapter 17: Possessive Anirudh

There was a complete surprise to Roy Chaudhary's when an unknown caller Richard gave a call at their home. Anirudh was surprised by the fact that this unknown person not only knows his wife but also seem so close to her to call her by a nickname. When Anirudh heard so, he couldn't stop himself taking up the call and talking to the unknown caller named Richard.

"Hello? Can I know who's speaking?" - asked Anirudh suspiciously

"I am Richard, I want to talk to Bondi! Can I get hold of her please?" - Richard

"There is no Bondita here! You called a wrong number." - uttered Anirudh furiously and was about to hang up the call.

"Yes Bondita, I am talking about Ms Bondita. Its the right number I have called on." - uttered Richard happily

"Its not Ms Bondita for your kind information. It is Mrs Bondita, Mrs Bondita Anirudh Roy Chaudhary." - replied Anirudh in confidence yet in rage

Bondita and Swabhagyawati came back from market while Kaka informed Bondita about the unknown caller.

"Bahu, someone has called on telephone and is asking for you." - Kaka

"Who is it Kaka Sasur Ji? I don't know much people here and I haven't given our telephone number to anyone except mother. Why? Did mother called?" - inquired Bondita excitedly

"Bodi, its not your mother's but some male person has called you." - Batuk

"A man? How can I get a call from a man!" - uttered Bondita surprisingly

"Yes Bodi and that man didn't call you by your name rather gave you a nickname." - Batuk

Bondita got a hint that it must be Richard because he is the only "idiot" in her terms who has given Bondita a nickname.

"Bahu, don't worry. Anirudh is handling him. Is our bahu some cat or dog that he is calling her 'Bondi Bondi'!" - Kaka Sasur Ji

Bondita's doubt got cleared. She soon realised its Richard.

"Is Richard on call? Oh my god I hope Pati babu won't tell him any such thing to offend him. That idiot guy can't get his brain on right track." - uttered Bondita and left in haste

"Batuk, she knows that guy?" - Trilochan Kaka

"It really seems so Kaka!" - replied Batuk in amusement

"Not only that they seem really close KSJ. Didn't you see didi called him 'idiot'!" - exclaimed Swabhagyawati

"What's so there in that word 'idiot' Swabhagyawati! I too call you the same does that mean we are close enough? What am I saying! I would rather go to himalayas and take sanyas rather discussing things with you like close ones." - uttered irritated Kaka

"Kaka, Swabhagyawati bodi means different 'Idiot' not that 'idiot' which you call Swabhagyawati bodi." - said Batuk trying to explain the meaning of the word "Idiot" to Kaka

"Yes KSJ! The word idiot which Bondita didi used is that 'idiot' not this 'idiot'." - Swabhagyawati

"What the hell 'idiot idiot idiot' is going on! Idiot means idiot the word has the same meaning. Now you both tell me which idiot has which meaning which is related to Bondita Bahu!" - uttered irritated Trilochan Kaka

"Kaka you won't get it! Swabhagyawati bodi whom are we trying to explain things! Kaka is old enough how can he understand different meanings of the word 'idiot'!" - uttered Batuk being sympathetic towards Kaka

"Yes KSJ, you should really not stress yourself at this age. Please take a good rest." - uttered Swabhagyawati feeling pity towards Kaka

"You idiots what are you both saying! I am old enough? Didi you forget I am zamindar (landlord).. " - uttered Kaka in rage
