Chapter 38: Anirudh In Love

Celebrating the victory of ballroom dance competition as well as singing competition with the whole family was the best moment not only for the barrister couple but also for Binoy uncle too. He was surely very proud of both of his sons also Bondita's victory made Binoy uncle give her his blessings with a smile on his face. Anirudh all through the dinner couldn't help but to stare at Bondita serving the food with his cheeks all red and a smile on his face.

"Anirudh, first you decide you want to glare at your wife or eat food! There a saying that people should focus only at one work at a time if they try to do multitasking both the work remain unfinished.", teased Trilochan Kaka.

"Dada ain't dancing with Bodi today enough for you?", interrupted Batuk in his mischievous tone.

Everyone on the dining table ended up laughing except Anirudh and Bondita who were left out being awkward infront of all.

"Bade buzurg kehkar gaye hai Batuk ki khane ke wakt sirif khana chahiye baat nahi karna chahiye! (Ancestors have quoted one thing Batuk, that while dinning one should focus on gulping their food only not to mutter up things!)", replied annoyed Anirudh.

"That's the thing we are saying to you Dada, that while dinning one must focus on eating rather glaring at else.", teased Batuk

"Regarding what one must do while dinning let's discuss it privately. Batuk, meet me at my study after dinner.", uttered furious Anirudh trying to control his anger.

"Dada, I was just kidding why are you taking things to heart.", retreated Batuk.

"Batuk, who will save you now!", murmured Somnath into Batuk's ears giving a smile.

"You too Som!", said Anirudh in a strong tone.

"But what I did?", inquired Somnath innocently.

"Anirudh Dada, why you want to take my Som Ji away? Do you want to beat up my Som Ji?", inquired Swabhagyawati with an annoyed and emotional face.

Somnath was shocked to hear Swabhagyawati's words and looked towards Swabhagyawati with a surprised gaze.

"No, No Swabhagyawati don't worry! I have some work.", assured Anirudh with a descent smile onto his face.

Both the brothers sitting infront of Anirudh's chair onto the dining table sighed with relief.

"I have some work only with Som but Batuk you too come!", uttered Anirudh with a forced smile.

"Okay! Enough of your talks. Swabhagyawati and Bondita bahu if you both are done with serving us food do sit and have your dinner, Bihari will serve us!", said Trilochan Kaka.

After the dinner Anirudh was anxiously waiting for Somnath and Batuk's arrival in his study.

"Dada did you call us?", interrupted Somnath

"Yes, Som! Let's wait for Batuk", replied Anirudh being all nervous by himself.

"Do you think Batuk will come? You've scare him enough onto the dining table.", uttered Somnath giving a smirk.

"Why won't I Somnath dada? People who think have done wrong only run away from things see me, I am standing right infront of Anirudh Dada with no fear onto my face.", said Batuk confidently.

"Are you sure?", inquired Anirudh with his suspicious annoyed gaze.

Batuk retreated instantly, "Why did you call us Dada?"

"I wanted to know about something!", uttered Anirudh nervously.

"About what?", inquired Somnath.
