Chapter 26: Bondita's Words

By the fact that Bondita didn't take initiative to save Saudamini from the wrath of furious villagers, Anirudh bombarded his anger onto Bondita in front of everyone in the house and left to his study furiously. Meanwhile Swabhagyawati ran towards heartbroken Bondita who fell onto her knees with eyes full of tears. Even though Swabhagyawati, Trilochan Kaka, Batuk tried to console Bondita cursing Anirudh but still Bondita didn't pay a heed to their words because her mind was filled with Anirudh's accusations regarding her and Rohan's relationship.

"Pati babu esa soch bhi kese sakte hai mere aur Rohan...!!" - said shocked Bondita in her mind

"Is anyone concerned about Anirudh? Everyone can see what Anirudh told to her in rage but did anyone notice that his head is bleeding? He is hurt, can anyone feel it?" - said Binoy uncle furiously

As soon as Bondita heard Binoy uncle's words she got back into her senses. She wiped her tears suddenly and got up.

"Swabhagyawati, go and bring the first aid soon as possible. Pati babu is hurt!" - uttered Bondita

"Bahu, Anirudh is angry now. You must not go to his study. I'll send Bihari with first aid or Batuk, you go!" - said concerned Trilochan kaka

"Yes Bodi, Kaka is saying right! I'll go with the first aid instead of you. Anirudh Dada is too furious now. You must stay here." - said Batuk

"What are you saying Batuk? Kaka, didn't you say that a wife should always take care of her husband, it's her Patni dharm (Wife's religion). Now when my husband is in pain, you are saying to me not to follow my Patni dharm? Go against your teachings?" - said Bondita emotionally

Trilochan Kaka had no answer to her words. Bondita took the first aid box from Swabhagyawati's hand and left for the study confidently.

Meanwhile in study room.

"Did I went aboard with my words! Wait, what wrong did I do? I mean what did she do? How can she do so? Always acting as if how pativrata (loyal to her husband) she is and then in front of all agree to participate... participate.. in couple dance, ballroom dance with that Rohan! I mean mara hu kya mai? (Am I dead already?) That she has to.. what more should ai say! Ahh! This wound it hurts! See, here I am in pain and, and she doesn't want to come up here too! If it was my 11 year old Bondita she would've already come up here running saying Pati babu, Pati babu and this! This women! Only cares about that Rohan! Want to dress for him! Also, also cook kheer for his birthdays! I mean how can she do soo! Wait a second, why am I being so anxious let her do what she wishes! Wait, why she should do what she wish for! I am her husband, doesn't she have some sort of responsibility towards me? Here I am hurt and she didn't at least come! How can she do so!" - murmured Anirudh with a disappointed yet frowned face

As soon as Anirudh heard a knock onto the door of the study he turned back. He was surprised to see Bondita standing right up there at the door with a first aid kit in her hands. Anirudh gave a blush but he hid his smile instantly, cleared his throat and started to act furious enough.

"Kya hai Bondita! (What do you want Bondita!) Why are you here!" - asked Anirudh facing his back towards standing Bondita

Bondita gave a forced smile as if chearing her ownself up and went inside towards Anirudh. Anirudh was surprised as no answer came back and so he kind of got uncomfortable with the thought that she might've already left the study. So Anirudh instantly turned to look towards the door to search for Bondita. As soon as he turned he was freaked out instantly to see Bondita just before his eyes a step distanced from him.

"Kya hai Bondita! (What happened Bondita!)" - said freaked out Anirudh

"Sit down on the chair first!" - said Bondita calmly
