Rohan's words about Indian businessmen relying on untrustworthy britishers made Binoy uncle go silent. Other family members realized it too that Rohan Majumdar is not some easy person but a well educated and confident guy who knows to defend his friend. Anirudh was quite flabbergasted with Rohan's point of view. Anirudh too expressed that he share same views of Rohan and the Rohan's way for contributing towards freedom struggle is quite unique and a thing to appreciate. Rohan without loosing a moment inquired about Anirudh's interest in participating in British Club Annual Ball Competition.

"A ball? You mean the competition which the club hold every year?" - inquired Anirudh

"Yes Mr Anirudh, I think you and Bondi should participate. Bondi is an amazing ball dancer." - appreciated Rohan with a smile

Trilochan Kaka and Batuk who were sitting beside eachother delighted by Rohan's suggestion.

"Kaka, we really thought it right this Rohan is really a key to bring Bondita Bodi and Anirudh dada together." - murmured Batuk to Trilochan Kaka

"Yes Batuk, Rohan really made our job much easier." - replied Trilochan Kaka with a happy face.

"But do you think Anirudh Dada will agree!" - interrupted Swabhagyawati

Trilochan Kaka and Batuk looked at her with frowned faces.

"Bahu, kabhi toh kuch acha bola karo (sometime at least try to utter a good thing)." - replied Trilochan Kaka trying to control his anger

"Don't worry Swabhagyawati bodi and Kaka, if Anirudh Dada will oppose then ain't we here!" - replied Batuk with an evil smile on his face.

Meanwhile Anirudh was busy in his thoughts.

"A ball competition, it's not that I do not wish to participate but I am afraid that Bondita would get a wrong idea about it and I might end up hurting her even more. I do not ever wish to hurt her. If I can't make her smile then I have no right to hurt her too." - uttered Anirudh to himself

"No Rohan babu, its so good of you to suggest us so but I am not interested to participate and regarding Bondita. I don't think so.." - Anirudh

"What are you saying Anirudh! Obviously you should participate with Bondita. Let those foreigners know that we Indians ain't any less." - interrupted Trilochan Kaka when he realised that Anirudh refused Rohan's proposal.

"Yes, Dada you should participate. Don't you say that Indians would let those filthy britishers know who we really are!" - Swabhagyawati

"Yes Swabhagyawati I understand but we can show them that we are better than them in other things too like education, research. Ballroom dance isn't the only thing and yes if you really are interested why don't you and Somnath participate. You both also have the club's membership ain't you?" - replied Anirudh

Somnath was delighted to hear this. He looked with the happy face towards Swabhagyawati meanwhile Swabhagyawati frowned, indirectly telling him to shut up his mouth. Somnath with a sorrowful face looked towards Anirudh and denied saying he has lots of work in the factory.

"Yes Somnath dada, everyone up here understand your pain that even if you want too you can't participate." - said Batuk acting pity towards Somnath

"Yes Batuk, now what can I do!" - replied moan Somnath looking at Swabhagyawati who happily smiled back.

"Yes Anirudh Dada, you only participate. Som Ji tell the tailor to stich a perfect tuxedo I will take Bondita didi today only to Allen's boutique for a perfect ball gown." - replied delighted Swabhagyawati

Bondita realised that Anirudh had no intention to participate with her for the ball dancer competition.

"No need of that Swabhagyawati, I already have few ball gowns which I bought from London and regarding the dance competition. It requires a lot of practice while Pati babu has three court cases pending and the competition is on the same day when he has a court hearing for his case so indeed he can't participate." - replied Bondita
