It's been over four hours of the drive, i could see we would be home in less than two hours..I dropped my phone after several rounds of playing games..my eyes feels heavy yet i was excited, i couldn't wait to see princess, i have missed her terribly and mom too..well partially!

"Dad, please could you turn off the AC?" I needed to feel the cool breeze of nature abeg

"Sure dear" he replied..
Dad's phone began to ring....i tried to pick it up to him, with a swift sense dad yanked the phone off me hand.. what's going on? i have never seen dad in this manner before...did i do something wrong?

"Hello!...where are you?" Dad said almost impatient

"Am there already and i can't find you" he continued
"Fine! don't waste my time!" He said and ended the call

I felt bad for having dad drive, he is not use to driving for hours...maybe he is stressed or work problems

"Is everything ok?" I asked

"Am fine" he said flatly, i decided not to push further, probably he is bothered about something, i know dad he will come around i said within

Silence pushed itself and take charge inside the car..i rested my head and let the natural air blow through my body "wow" I said indistinctly and closed my eyes...

"You fool, leave the road if you are unable to drive" dad yelled at another driver making me suddenly opening my eyes

"It's ok dad" i said and patted his shoulder lightly

"Thank you my dear" he said with a small smile

The drive continued...my phone began to ring..it's olaolu!..I smiled knowing he is the one calling

We talked close to five minutes, he called to check on me asking if i had gotten home i was all smiles through out the call

"Bye dear" ola said finally..

"Who is that?" Dad asked

"My friend, his name is ola" i said

"Oh i see" was all he said..for some reason i do not like the response he gave.. what's wrong with this man today? he is acting cold to me somehow

Suddenly i noticed we weren't on the express way.."are we going somewhere else?" I asked dad ,i was becoming aware of the place we were, it was a remote place with bushes all over and dad parked the car

"Oh no dear, i have a file i need to collect from a friend of mine so we agreed to meet up here, don't worry he will be here in no minutes" he said assuring me

"Alright dad "

Dad got out the car to make a call, this time i heard him shouting "where are you nau!"

"Arggh" dad needs to take things easy..i suddenly feel the urged to ease myself..i got out of the car to find a place...i could see dad at a far end..he seems to be talking to someone on the phone..

I walked further into the bush to find this kind of a good spot where i feel am well covered...

After i was done i walked back towards the car, i saw a black Jeep approaching towards dad's car, i ignored the car and went inside the car.... suddenly a tall dark man with a mask on opened the car and jerked me out of the car...i began to panic.."who are you?" i asked, my whole body system began to shake, my heart beating fast...the man ignored my question.."dad! dad!!" i shouted calling for my dad, he man pulled my hair and pushed me into the Jeep..oh my God! what is happening to me? i have only read and watched in a movie been kidnapped...is that what is happening to me right now? i continued calling for dad..."shut up!" another man shouted at me

"Am here" dad's voice came on, i began to cry as my body was still shaking uncontrollably "dad what's going on?" i asked amidst tears s

"Don't worry shade, you will be fine...guys take care of the rest" dad said and got off the car

"Dad! dad!! dad!!!" i shouted with every of the strength i had inside of me "dad please come back!"

Before I could perceived the next thing another guy landed an hot slap on my face "will you shut up?" He shouted then the other man with mask on also sitting beside me shouted at the man "you fool, you know the tag must be treated gently" he said

What?

Am i been referred to as a tag?
Where are they taking me to? God please help me, i do not want to die..i prayed silently while crying

"Sorry boss" he said

"Hey listen, we do not want to hurt you and don't give us reason to do so" the masked man said holding my jaw roughly

How could dad do this to me? i knew something was off this morning when he came to pick..right before him i was been taken by these strange men to a place unknown to me..is this the way of getting back at me when i demanded to know about my biological parents, why do i feel there's a deeper secret to all of these and somehow connected with dad...

Is this the man i called my father? is this the man who raised me with much love and care?

All was under pretense?

God please what is going on? i don't want to die

I wept silently since i do not want this strange men to hurt me

I pinched my hands severally to be well assured it wasn't a dream

Suddenly the men started discussing some things in hausa language... I listened carefully but i couldn't catch a glimpse of their conversation since i do not understand the language..they talked for few minutes, finally the man whom i sensed to be the boss spoke up "it's time" he said

Before i couldn't process anything a small towel was brought up to my nose..i inhaled a sharp scent, i couldn't even describe what the smell was... within few seconds i was beginning to feel dizzy..
