53: Drink Until You're Honest

  A/N: AAAHHH!!!! ACK!!! THIS CHAPTER IS EVEN SOFTER THAN CHAPTER 52 SOMEHOW OMFGGGGG!!!! I really out-softed myself that I don't think I'll be capable of being soft anymore!! Since I'm clearly such a cliche lately, I took the liberty of dedicating this chapter to 'Stay With Me' by Sam Smith. I feel that this song really pulls this whole chapter together and it honestly relates to Y/N and Levi's relationship so damn well! AH! I'll shut up! Hope you all love this chapter and I hope you're all having a wonderfully spooky October! This chapter is also fairly long but there's no sadness at all! Enjoy!!!

Everyone tagged along and even though Erwin, Hanji, Mike, Eren, Jean, Connie, Sasha, and yourself were the only one's who decided to drink, everyone else still had a wonderful time. Levi was becoming worried with your alcohol consumption. You insisted that you weren't a lightweight. Which was perfectly true, though Levi was still skeptical.
"Don't even worry bout it." You slurred, even hiccuping at one point during your very short sentence towards Levi. Connie and Sasha were of course being the life of the party, not only annoying the absolute hell out of Jean, but making the entirety of the night so much more enjoyable for you.
"We're all having fun. Besides, if anything happens, I have you to help me, right?" You nudged Levi. Levi rolled his eyes playfully, not responding. You knew his choice in not responding meant that he admitted defeat. You giggled. Your cheeks were quite warm and dusted with a slight pink color. Levi stared at you, admiring your beauty so intently. You pouted.
"I know you want to kiss me so just do it." Your expression resembled a little kid being refused candy after going through an extremely annoying sugar-high. Levi tittered, amused with your attitude. You blew out your cheeks, making them look bigger and puffy, as a protest to Levi not doing as you asked. He leaned in to kiss you. As you followed after his motion, mimicking his, he placed his hand over your mouth. You opened your eyes, pulling away.
"You're no fun." You objected, stuttering your words. Levi chuckled silently, shaking his head.
"Not in front of everyone else." Levi interjected, giving his reason for not kissing you.
"No one gives a shit. Besides, what are they gonna do, tell us to stop? I'll whack them in the throat with my knee!" You shouted towards the end of your short rant, exclaiming your plans for anyone who had an issue with you and Levi displaying your affection for each other in front of them.
"I'd like to see you try, Y/N." Jean butted into the conversation. He as well as the other soldiers were just as drunk as you were. Eren overheard the conversation as well.
"Jean makes it too easy for people to kick his ass." Eren mentioned, Mikasa shook her head in disapproval over his choice or words.
"What'd you say, shithead?" Jean growled, ready to start a fight with Eren. You laughed, watching as what would most likely be the most amusing show you'd ever witness was happening right before your eyes.
"You heard me, horseface." Eren replied back in a drunken, mocking tone. You snorted. Mikasa flicked Eren on the forehead, not needing to use words to tell him to stop. Eren listened.
"Hah! Horseface!" Sasha exclaimed, pushing Jean aside. You couldn't control your laughter any further. You happily swayed your body back and forth in your seat as you continued to listen to everyone around you.
"Sasha, did you eat my bread? That was the last one you damned potato girl!" Connie exclaimed with displeasure against Sasha as he walked towards her.
"How many times do I have to tell you not to call me that!? You're damn right I ate it! I was starving!" Sasha objected, defending her actions.
"How can you be starving when you had your own bread, which you inhaled in less than ten seconds?" Connie continued, stumbling up to Sasha. Everyone was an arguing mess, but it was more playful than anything else. Everyone seemed to be reliving their youth when they first ever joined the Garrison and became acquainted with each other.
"Oh. My. God!" You exclaimed, shocked and smiling with amusement. Hanji being completely plastered drunk wasn't surprising for you, but Erwin acting in such a sloshed manner was definitely a sight to see. You covered your mouth with disbelief as you watched him and Hanji singing in slurred words while hanging their body weight on Mike, who was calmly standing in the middle of them.
"Have you ever seen them like this?" You asked, grabbing hold of Levi's arm suddenly.
"Yes, believe it or not, Erwin is more of a lightweight than Hanji is. But all in all they're both lightweights." You giggled at Levi's response.
"Am I to believe that you... aren't a light-" You stated, slurring your words, and dozing off. You completely passed out against Levi. He held you up, sighing with relief. Almost as if he was waiting for that very moment to occur.
"I'm sorry to cut this short, but I'll be taking Y/N back to her quarters." Levi stated as he gently hoisted you up in his arms. You were knocked out and incapable of walking on your own. Everyone said their goodbye's in their own drunken way.
