Chapter 3 - Engagement Party!

*Your POV*

-Moring-

We both got up around 10:30am, and got dressed for the semi big day,

"*Yawn* I'm still tired" I say once I fixed my hair,

"That's you all the time" mark said as he finished putting on his shirt,

"Hahaha, funny..." I say in a sarcastic tone,

"Haha, you done yet?" He asked,

"Give me a sec.... done!" I said just finishing my pony tail,

"Good" mark said as he walked up behind me and put his arms around my waist and kissed me gently on the cheek.

"You seem happier today..." I smiled,

"Well, I'm still nervous...." mark said with a uneasy expression,

I turn around and placed my hands on his face,

"Mark, you'll be fine today, I promise!"

"I know..." he said as he breathed,

I took my hands off his face and walked over the my bag and pulled out a floral dress and my sandals,

"Go down and have something to eat whilst I get dressed ok?"

"Uh, sure..."

"Mark..."

"Yea?"

"Just go, I'll be down in a sec" I said as I walked over and kissed him,

"Fine" he said as he walked off,

-sigh-

Mark has been so nervous about this party...

10 mins later I was dressed and ready to go, so I walked down the stairs and walked into the lounge room to find mark peacefully chatting with my mother,

I breathed, that's good his not so nervous now, I say to myself as I walked over and sat down next to him,

"Soo, what are you guys talking about?"

"Oh! Not much, just telling him a few things that are happening today" my mother said,

"Yea it sounds like fun" mark chipped in,

"That's great to hear, I can't wait to see what you guys have planned for the engagement party!"

"Oh! Speaking of party *looks at her watch* we gotta go!"

"Already!?" I say whilst getting picked up and pushed out the door.

We got into my mothers car and drove for about 20 mins before we stopped a hall.

What's has my mother planned for this party??
