Chapter 4 - Congrats..

*Mark's POV*

"Go down and have something to eat whilst I get dressed ok?"

"Uh, sure..."

"Mark..."

"Yea?"

"Just go, I'll be down in a sec" [Y/N]. said as She walked over and kissed me,

"Fine" i say before I walk off,

-sigh-

I'm so nervous about this party...

I walk down the stairs and run into [Y/N]'s mother,

"Oh sorry" I say,

"No, it's fine mark!" She said happily,

"Come sit with me"

"Oh ok sure" I say as I sit on the couch

10 mins later [Y/N] came down and noticed me in the lounge room and walked over,

"Soo, what are you guys talking about?" She said as she sat down,

"Oh! Not much, just telling him a few things that are happening today" her mother said,

"Yea it sounds like fun" i chipped in,

"That's great to hear, I can't wait to see what you guys have planned for the engagement party!"

"Oh! Speaking of party *looks at her watch* we gotta go!"

"Already!?" [Y/N] says whilst getting picked up and pushed out the door.

We got into her mothers car and drove for about 20 mins before we stopped a hall.

We got out and we're told to wait outside,

"Hmm..." [Y/N] says to herself,

"What?"

"Huh!? Oh um.... I don't know what mums up to that's all" she said concerned,

"I'm sure it's fine"

Just as I said that her mum come out and tells us to come inside,

-sigh-

"Here we go" I say,

"Hahaga" she laughed,

We walked into the hall and was greeted with,

"CONGRATULATIONS!!!"

We jumped a little, them just laughed

"Thanks everyone!" [Y/N] shouted,

She walked off to speak to people and some guys came up to me and introduced themselfs,

"Hey... mark right?"

"Yea.."

"I'm David, [Y/N]'s stepdad" he said,

"Oh! Nice to meet you david" i say,

"Yea, I'm brendan, [Y/N]'s father" the other one said,

"Ooh! Hi, nice to meet you" I smiled and shook his hand,

Then they walked away,

"Mark!" [Y/N] shouted,

"Yea?"

"Come here!"

I walked over and was introduced to more of her family.

Once all that was done we sat at our tables and listened to everyone congrats to us and speeches,

The place was put together nicely,
There where streamers and balloons everywhere and a DJ and a banner reading 'congratulations mark and [Y/N]' and the tables had white cloths on them with bowls of roses on them in the middle of the table,

"Mark"

"Huh?"

"They just finished talking, now they asked if we want to dance"

"Oh... yea of course, that's what manly men do haha" I said,

"Hehe"

We got up and moved to what was the dance floor and they played a slow song first,

"Huh, that's beautiful"

"What is?"

"You, today..." I say as I lean down to kiss her.

After more dancing we wanted to end it and go home, soo we did, once we got home we both thanked her mum for the party and went to bed,

"You know what?" [Y/N] said as she got into her pjs,

"What?"

She walks over to me,
"I love you till the day I die..." she smiled and kissed my forehead and got into bed,

I followed her,

"I love you till time ends..." I whispered to her before kissing her cheek and wrapping my hands around her waist and falling asleep.
