𝙏𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 is what kuroo would call his job, he finds it exhausting to go out to make business and do paperwork, he needs help. it is not like he hates his job because that is very wrong, he loves his career it is just a lot to do what he does
so, when he contacted his higher ups recommending that he needs an assistant to help with his paperwork and they accepted he was beyond relieved that he would have someone to help him out
his higher ups let him go on with the interviews since whoever was applying was going to work for him, kuroo wasn't use to giving interviews but he was going to try his hardest
when he put up the ad, he was looking for an assistant many people emailed an application to the website which got directed to his work email, he was overwhelmed by how many people applied but he wasn't surprised it was a good pay
when kuroo was done with his tenth email he realized there were many more so he decided to stop for the day and head home, he walked out the glass building and headed towards where his car was
when he reached his car, he got in and took his phone out and checked his notifications, he got one from his best friend kenma saying 'how is the assistant searching going?' kuroo chuckled and replied with 'tiring but it's going to be worth it'.
when he was done texting kenma he turned his car on and drove home, when he reached home, he parked his car and grabbed his things out the car and walked into his quiet lonely house.
he sighed deeply and said "I'm home" to no one in particular, he took his shoes off and headed to his room to take off his suit.
when he was out of his suit he threw on some shorts and a shirt and laid down on his queen size bed, he always wondered why he bought such big of a bed when he has no one to share it with.
he's 24 now, his grandmother pushes him to get married before it was her time. whenever she said that kuroo responded with a "don't say that" or "I'll get married soon" but he knows that's a lie, he doesn't talk to women he might seem like the type to have his way with women but he's actually pretty awkward when it comes to them
he would love to have a significant other but with work and how he is with women, he cannot picture him being in a relationship.
kuroo sighs once again and looks at his phone debating on what to do, he was bored in this house alone with nothing to do.
he decided to call up his friend bokuto Kotaro, he put his phone to his ear and heard 2 rings on his line before an excited bokuto picked up the phone
"Hey hey hey! kuroo how you doing man?" bokuto says loudly, kuroo put his phone a little bit away from his ear from the loud noise and says "I'm doing fairly good I guess, I'm just bored want to hang out"
bokuto agrees right after kuroo finishes his sentence and says "I'LL BE RIGHT OVER!" once again kuroo put the phone away from his ear but this time in a farther distance.
kuroo got up and walked into his living room sitting down waiting for bokuto to arrive

20 minutes pass by and kuroo hears a knock on his door, he gets up and opens the door to be treated with bokuto smiling brightly. kuroo gave bokuto a tight hug and they walked into kuroo's living room and sat down
bokuto look at kuroo and said "so why did you want to hang out? you usually invite kenma to hang" kuroo looks at bokuto and shrugs "I just miss my best bro"
bokuto nodded his head and got up to get some snacks from the kitchen, kuroo rolls his eyes he's used to bokuto just going into his kitchen getting whatever he wants
bokuto comes back with his arms full of snacks for both of them while kuroo puts on a movie for them to watch, bokuto sits next to kuroo and throws some snack at him. kuroo catches them and the movie plays
kuroo misses times like these where it was peaceful.
