𝗬/𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲, she got the job. kuroo sent her an email saying that she'll be working for him and that she starts this tuesday, y/n couldn't believe that she actually got the job.
she picked up her phone and dialed oikawa, he picked up right away.
"Hello~" oikawa said, she can already see the smirk on his face and rolled her eyes, "guess what?" she said with a smirk.
"what?"
"i got the job" she said smiling, words full of excitement, "holy shit! when do you start?" he says matching her energy.
"This tuesday" she says
"ohh you have 3 more days till you start working with that hottie, how do you feel" he says playfully
she rolls her eyes " I feel happy that I now have a job, my boss may be good looking but that doesn't mean I'm going to catch feelings, oikawa."
oikawa lets out a laugh "yeah whatever"
she rolls her eyes and says goodbye then hangs up the phone, hangs up the phone.
-𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗣- -y/n's POV-
It's now Tuesday and kuroo sent me an email saying to come in at 8AM, I woke up at 6 and got ready. it's now 7:25 and im heading out walking towards the train station, when I got there I got myself a green tea out of a vending machine while waiting for the train to arrive
i finished my tea and the train came, I threw my bottle away and got my purse and got onto the train, I put my headphones in and looked out the window. "I'm going to have a good day" I say in my head— I'm trying to be as positive as I can like oikawa said the other day, if I'm positive then everything is going to be okay.
-TIMESKIP- -3rd Pov-
y/n's train comes to a stop and she unplugs her headphones and gets up, she stretches and gets off the train. she starts walking towards her job ready for anything to happen today
when she reached the building she said good morning to the receptionist and went in the elevator, the door closed when she pressed the '17' button. the elevator went up fast making her lose her balance a little bit, she stumble and held on to the rod in the elevator
the elevator dinged and and opened the door, she fixed her skirt and walked out, she looked at the only desk on the floor and saw it had a box full of things, she was guessing that was for her and walked towards kuroo's office door.
she knocked and kuroo got up and opened the door, "good morning l/n-san" he says with a smile. "morning kuroo-san" she says walking in taking a seat in front of his desk, putting her purse in her lap. he sat down at his desk and got out some paperwork for y/n
"these are papers for the company and me, it's basically you agreeing too our rules here. we already went over that during the interview so you shouldn't have a problem agreeing to them" he says handing her the papers, she leans foward and takes the papers out his hand
making their fingers slightly glide across each other's, making them feel their skin on one another's. she places the papers on her lap and looks down trying to avert her eyes so kuroo doesn't notice how flustered she is by them,
"u-um yeah, so just sign those papers and we're going to get you a badge and get your desk settled" he said trying to not make anything awkward from the sudden action.
she nods and takes a pen out her purse and signs the papers then places them on his desk trying to avoid what happened before, she told oikawa that she's not going to catch feelings and she's going to stick by that.
