It's been a week after that incident he started ignoring me, he use to go to office in early morning and come back to home late at night , he never talked to me after that , in simple words he is ignoring me since one week well frankly speaking I am feeling bad but i am too stubborn to accept it, may be I was too harsh that day, may be his intention wasn't bad but why the hell he is not telling me about my family?? I have full right to know about them,
Today I decided to talk to him so i was waiting for him, at 3 o'clock in the night he came back to home, as soon as he enter inside the room he found me awake...
"Umm manik did you had your dinner?? " I asked him looking towards him
"Hmm " He just nodded and remove his tie and blazer and kept it on the couch, he was looking little tierd, I went to kitchen to make a coffee for him and gave it to him....
"You don't need to do all this just sleep it's too late" Saying this he lie down on the couch and closed his eyes
Don't know why but I am not liking his silence I am missing him, I know it was my fault still, what to do now ?? Aiyappa what I will do???
. . . . . . . . "Mannu puttar did you gave something to my bahu?? " Dadi asked manik
"Sorry dadi I didn't get time, I'll ask my manager to purchase something for her " He told her wearing his shoes
"That's not fair , she is your wife not your manager's wife come home in afternoon and take her out to purchase something for her " Dadi ordered him, he tried to deny but at last on getting no other way he agreed for it
. . . . . "You didn't got ready yet?? " I was climbing on the stool to get some ingredients from the upper shelf as soon as I heard his voice I lost my balance, before I could fall down on the floor he held me in his protective arms...
"Ahemm I didn't thought that you will come back on time" I informed him
"Whatever let's go I don't have much time " I tried to deny because I wasn't ready properly but he didn't gave me a time to say anything he just pick me up in his arms and walk towards his car, he made me sit on the passenger seat and started driving towards the mall....
Huh he is such a monster he didn't even let me change my clothes I made a bad face ,in whole journey he was driving quietly at last we have reached the mall he parked his car and waited for me to come out when I didn't came out from the car he asked me "will you please come out or want me to pick you up like before??"
On hearing this I quickly came out from the car don't know why but I am having a feeling that someone is following us, but I chuck this thought away thinking that it might be my illusion, I set my saree and enter inside the mall along with him, I was about to go inside the common section but he stopped me by saying "where are you supposed to go?? Come this way" Saying this while holding my hands and take me in the four floor of the mall, the most expensive section of that mall,
"What do you wanna purchase?? Some jwellery or dress?? " He asked me looking at me
After a week I was so happy at least he is talking to me, thank you dadi for it, but don't know why I like to be with him when I don't have feelings for him
"Where are you lost ?? Please do it fast I don't have much time for this I have to attend a meeting " So rude he is not doing some favour to me by doing this, he is giving me a gift, I am not begging for it
"Speak up" He asked me again on which I replied to him in not so interested tone
"Whatever you like to give it to me" He simply nodded and take me inside the jwellery shop he asked the manger to show me some unique and rare designes, all were so pretty as well as costly, I can't take such an expensive gifts from him, when manger asked me about my choice I looked nervously to manik, I guess he understood my dilemma so he kept his hand on mine to make me relax
"Now you are not nandini moorthy, you are Mrs nandini manik malhotra so get use to of these things " I looked him for a moment at last I selected one decent and simple pendent for myself, manager asked me to try it for once keeping a mirror in front of me, I was having difficulty in wearing it , I was struggling to close it's lock that's when I felt someone's finger on my back, I looked in mirror to see manik's reflection, he closed the lock and asked me "liked it?? "
"What do you think?? " I asked him looking at him through mirror, we had an eyelock for some seconds which he quickly broke it by telling manager to pack this we came out from that showroom, he told me that he forgot his phone in the showroom and went inside to take it, I was standing there alone that's when I saw someone's shadow behind me and I got little scared,being scared I quickly hide behind a pillar , someone kept his hand on my shoulder to make me jump on my place but on seeing his face I take a breath of relief ...
"It's me relax" Manik told me while assuring me that I am safe
"Manik someone is following us, I saw his shadow there" I pointed my hands towards that direction where I saw his shadow........
"Okay relax let me see" Saying this he started walking in that direction, I stopped him but he told me not to worry and on seeing gun in that person's hand I screamed "manikkkk"
