Gusto kong itaas ang kilay ko ng matanaw ko si Gino. Tsk. Kahit ano pa man ang tago nya sa mukha nya, halata namang sya pa rin si Gino.
"What do you think are you doing here?"
"Ah eh, ano, may dinadalaw lang ako?"
I raised my brows.
"Anong room?"
"Room 5609."
Lalong tumaas ng kilay ko, pasyente ko yun eh. Isang dalagang nasobrahan sa pagpapapayat na nauwi sa stroke. Si Kuya ang Neuro nya at ako ang attending Cardio.
"Go ahead."
"Bakit mo ako sinusundan?" tanong ni Gino
"Sorry, we're going in the same way. Sige, you go ahead."
So hinayaan ko syang pumasok sa kwarto at sumunod ako after few minutes na dumating din ang mga nurse at kasama kong intern. At kagaya ng inaasahan ko, gulat ang mga tao sa pagpasok ni Gino sa kwarto.
"Sinundan mo ako?" tanong ni Gino sa akin
Agad ko namang itinuro ang pangalan ng Doctor na nakalagay sa Patient's info.

"Doc kilala nyo po sya? Artista po sya. Sya po si Gino Locsin. Yung sikat na kumanta ng Sana Mahal tapos sya yung bida sa Awesome." Sabi nung nurse.
I smiled at them. "Talaga ba? Mommy check upin ko po muna si Love ha."
Habang mejo pinagkakaguluhan nila si Gino na parang natataranta na, patuloy naman ako sa trabahaho ko.
"May masakit pa sayo? "
She just shooked her head.
"Your resting heart is still fast. We need to maintain it to just between 60 to 100 okay? Let's get well soon so we can fix this immediately. There are so many people waiting for you to get well."
She nodded.
I faced the nurses and interns so I could discuss the situation.
"Okay good. Right now, her heart rate is still fast which means that the heart rate that is controlled by electrical signals sent across heart tissues is chaotic. Based on her medical history, she has high blood pressure which is a structural abnormality of the heart."
The interns and nurses are nodding.
"Did you guys note on that?" I asked
"Yes Doc." sabay nilang pagsang ayon
"Mommy, after sya mapuntahan ni Doc Luke bukas, maguusap kami para maschedule na ang surgery ni Love."
"Thank you, po Doc."
"Always keep her calm ha? If there are visitors causing her heart rate to go faster, you need to shoo the guests away. They are not good for Love."
I smiled and face Gino.
"Will you be staying here?" I asked him
He smiled and followed me after he said goodbye to the lady.
Kahit gaano kasikat si Gino, he still has the same habits the same as 15 years ago.
I lead him to the small garden of the hospital near the parking lot.
"May I now know what are you doing here?"
"I just want to see you."
I took a deep breath and look up in the sky.
