It was a nice day, I'm hanging out in my best friend's place. Who's my best friend you may ask? My best friend is Chiyu Tamade or Chu² is what she'd like to be called. Chu² lives in a very big place and I love hanging out here. She's also the producer and DJ of a band called Raise A Sulien. As I was just relaxing...

Chiyu: Y/N!!!!!!

Chiyu shouted my name as I went to her immediately. I found her in the kitchen struggling to get something from the top shelf.

Y/n: Can't reach?

Chiyu: Y- yes...

Y/n: What were you supposed to get?

Chiyu: Beef jerky.

Y/n: Fine, I'll get it.

I reached the top shelf with ease and got the beed jerky easily.

Y/n: Next time, put it in the lower shelf.

I said as I gave the bag of jerky to her and patted her head.

Chiyu: Hey! You can't do that!

She said angrily, she gets irritated when I give her headpats.

Y/n: Then gain some height. Lol, why are you even so short in the first place?

That ticked her off more. Her eyes changed to a more angry one...

Y/n: Uhm... I gotta go now, bye!

I said as I rushed off and went home immediately... Me staying there isn't the best choice.

~The next day~

I decided to go back at Chiyu's place and apologize. I went to her place and opened the door as I have access to it.

Y/n: Chiyu?

Chiyu: Here to tease me about my height again?

I went and sat beside her at the sofa while she was eating jerky.

Y/n: No, I'm here to apologize. I'm sorry but you are small.

Chiyu: You piece of- you know what? Fine, your apology is accepted.

Y/n: Really?

Chiyu: No, but it will if you do me a favor.

Y/n: What?

Chiyu: I'm almost out of beef jerky, come with me and buy beef jerky using your money.

Y/n: What?! You literally have more money than me.

Chiyu: Apology not accepted then.

After thinking for a few moments...

Y/n: Fine, you got me.

Chiyu then stood up and said...

Chiyu: What are you waiting for? Let's go!

She said as we headed to the grocery... We looked at the aisle, one by one. We finally reached at where the jerky is at but...

Chiyu: Why are the jerky always on the top shelf?!

Chiyu shouted, earning the stares of other customers.

Y/n: Hey! Why did you shout?

Chiyu: Because I hate it that the jerky is on the top shelf.

Y/n: You have me?

I got a few bags of jerky as I held her hand and immediately went to the cashier and paid. We exited the grocery as I started to scold her.

Y/n: That was so embarrassing, you know?

Chiyu: L- let go of my hand!

I let go of her hand as we looked at each other.

Y/n: I'm not going with you again if you keep acting like a spoiled child.

Chiyu: Then fine!

Chiyu then grabbed the bag with the bags of jerky, opened one and started to eat.

Chiyu: I don't want to argue, Y/n. Let's just eat.

This shocked me, Chiyu actually wanted to make peace.

Y/n: I'm so proud! Let's go, I'm also hungry.

~Many years later~

Chiyu: Y/N!!!

Chiyu, my wife shouted. I immediately went to her and asked what's wrong.

Y/n: What's happening?

Chiyu: Could you pass me the salt? I can't reach it.

I laughed as I got the salt from the top shelf and gave it to her.

Y/n: I don't even know why the salt is on the top shelf.

Chiyu: Yeah, you were the one who last used it, right?

Y/n: I also don't know why you're still small.

Chiyu: Why you-!

I ran off and went back to the living room.

~Few minutes later~

Chiyu: Dinner's ready!!!

Chiyu called me as I went to the dining room. I took a bite at Chiyu's cooking and...

Y/n: So good!

Chiyu: Thanks.

Y/n: About what I said earlier...

Chiyu: Are you apologizing?

Y/n: No, you're just so small, you know?

Chiyu: I hate you, Y/n.

Y/n: Oh, really? Then why is your last name L/n? Why did you say "yes" when I asked you to marry me?

Chiyu: Fine...

Y/n: I love you, Chiyu.
