You scrolled through the comments on your most recent Instagram post. Your eyes found all of the hateful comments that were left for you to read, in hopes that you'd believe the awful insults.

"Gaga deserves better than you."

"Your so ugly."

"Whore."

"I can't believe Gaga's happy with her."

You felt your bottom lip begin to tremble. You tried to swallow the painful tears that were visible in the corner of your eyes.

You shut off your phone, placing it on the kitchen counter as you attempted to pull yourself together. You took a deep breath, trying to ignore all of the negative thoughts that began to torture you.

You tried to distract yourself but once your girlfriend entered the house, you felt like breaking down once you remembered how much you didn't deserve her.

"Princess? I'm home!" Your gorgeous girlfriend yelled as she closed the front door, making her way into the kitchen. "I'm in here!" You yelled back. You heard footsteps coming near you, entering the large kitchen. You spun around, immediately being greeted with a soft kiss. "Hi honey." You attempted to smile as you greeted Stefani. "Hi baby." She replied smiling brightly as she pulled you into a hug. You wrapped your arms around her, taking in her vanilla scent. "Are you okay babygirl?" Stefani asked. You nodded your head in response, "Yeah I'm fine." You blankly responded. "Okay well I'm going out to dinner for a meeting with my team tonight, do you want to come along baby?" The blonde offered. You were tempted to say yes, but then you remembered everything that was said about you. You figured that Stefani would be better off going alone so people don't judge her for being seen with someone like you. "Uh, no it's okay babe. I think I'll stay home tonight." You answered as calmly as possible. Stefani looked you in the eyes, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear, "Okay, what's wrong baby? You never say no to those things. You can talk to me you know. I'm here to listen." Your girlfriend comforted you. You slightly smiled, "Thank you. But I'm okay. Just tired I guess." You tried to laugh it off, but Stefani wasn't buying it. "You don't have to pretend you know? I can see that somethings hurting you." For some reason those words hurt you more than they should've. You hid your face in your hands, trying to calm yourself so that you didn't cry. "Baby, why are you covering your face? What's the matter?" It was incredible how this woman could literally read you. She knew when you weren't okay even if you put the best face on, she knew.

Stefani removed your hands from your face, placing her index finger underneath your chin. She gently kissed your lips. "Hey, baby, I need you to talk to me. Somethings clearly upsetting you and you know that it hurts me when I see you sad. Please talk to me." Stefani softly spoke, trying to convince you. "I, uh, I." You felt like you could barely speak. You began to cry, as you sat down on the floor, unable to keep yourself up. You hugged your knees, trying to grant yourself some comfort.

Stefani immediately grabbed you, she picked you up, placing you on the kitchen counter. "Oh no, baby, please don't cry. Why's wrong babygirl?" She asked, trying to get something out of you. She hugged you tightly, rubbing your back as she whispered comforting things to you, "Hey, princess, it's okay. Your okay. Just breathe. I've got you, and I'm not letting go." She told you, trying to calm you down. Stefani planted a few kisses on your cheek before you hid your face in her neck.

For a while you both sat in silence. Stefani continued to hold onto you, rubbing your back soothingly.

Eventually when she heard your sniffles quiet down, she looked at you, forcing you to look up at her. She gently kissed you, "Can you tell me what's wrong now babygirl?" She asked. You cleared your throat, "I, um, well." You placed your hand on your chest, trying to calm your breathing. "Recently, I've noticed a lot of hate comments that are on my page about how I don't deserve you, how I'm a whore, how I'm ugly and I should just do everyone a favor and kill myself, and that you are better off without me. So, I guess it started to get to me, and I began to believe it. And yeah, I don't deserve you. You deserve so much better than me. I'm such a mess and you could probably have so many people in this world, but then again you decided to choose me. I'm not sure why, but you did. And, I know I'm ugly and worthless and it's probably embarrassing being out in public with me. So if you want to break up, I totally understand." You quickly ranted, unsure if Stefani caught all of what you were saying.

You looked at her but your heart nearly dropped once you did. You saw her eyes glistening, almost as if she was about to cry. "Oh my god, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry baby!" You panicked, pulling Stefani into a hug. She hugged you back instantly.

Once she pulled away, she looked you in the eyes before she spoke, "Princess, I know I've told you that I love you before, but something you never really seem to understand is that I love you more than life itself, and I never thought I'd be able to love someone that much. I went through boyfriend after boyfriend, trying to find someone who would make me happy, and low and behold, I found the happiness that I craved for so long in you. Baby, I love you so much. You are not ugly, you are not a whore, and they are right, you don't deserve me. You deserve so much more. You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen and when I first laid eyes on you, I couldn't think straight. I almost panicked when I saw you walking towards me with that gorgeous smile on your face because I didn't think that someone as beautiful as you would ever acknowledge me. Everyday I find a way to love you more and more. You are my everything y/n, you are my home and my rock. And I will never leave you. Your stuck with me for the rest of your life baby. Once I got you, I knew that I'd never let you go, and to this day, I stand by that. You are mine." Stefani softly spoke. Her eyes alone held great passion for you, making you fall in love with her all over again. "You love me more than life itself?" You asked, quite in awe of her words. "I do. I always have." She admitted with no hesitation, rubbing your cheek with the pad of her thumb. "And whoever is saying this, they aren't my little monsters. I know them very well, and they would never do something like that." You smiled at her, "Thank you. And I'm sorry for crying over this, I know it's dumb." You slightly insulted yourself. Stefani placed her hand on your thigh, "Hey, it's not dumb, okay? I'm glad you talked to me about this. And the next time you feel worthless, just remember that I began to give up on love before I met you. And when I found you, I had hope again." Stefani said, looking you in the eyes. You lovingly kissed her as if you were saying thank you.

"Give me a second, okay baby? I'll be right back." Stefani said, kissing your cheek before walking out of the kitchen, leaving you alone for a minute. You decided to take out your phone and distract yourself for a minute.

After a few minutes, you received a twitter notification, letting you know that Stefani had tweeted something. Confused, you opened up the notification. But once you read what it said, your heart practically melted.

"Hello little monsters. Recently I've realized that my gorgeous girlfriend, y/n, has received an endless amount of hate. This has ranged from people calling her a whore to people telling her to kill herself. If you've been guilty of doing this, you are not a little monster. Y/n makes me happy and that's all that matters. It is purely disrespectful to ever wish death upon someone, especially when they've done absolutely wrong. She is not a whore nor is she ugly. If you truly love and support me, I expect you to be kind and respectful to my significant other whether you favor her or not. Thank you."

Within seconds, a bunch of positive comments had been tweeted, making your heart feel a bit lighter. You smiled as you liked the tweet.

You set your phone down on the counter top next to you as you heard your girlfriend walking into the kitchen again with a hopeful smile on her face. She immediately engulfed you in a hug that you gladly excepted. "I love you." She whispered. "I love you too." You responded, kissing her cheek. "Now, how about that dinner." She winked at you. You softly laughed, "I'd love to join you." You accepted. "Good, because I wasn't going without you." She slightly exaggerated.

You gave her a loving kiss in return, knowing that no matter what happened, Stefani would continue to stick but your side.
