everyone is

obsessed

with being the

main character

of the story

but aren't we all

the main characters

of our own stories

aren't we all

side characters

in other stories

the main character

doesn't have to be

a hero

sometimes

it's better when they're

not

because it's more

relatable

i'm not a hero

neither are you

and yet

we have these

stories

created

around us

and our worlds

they can say

that you're

evil

but villainy's

just a perspective

and if i'm being

honest

i'd rather be a

villain

with convictions

than a hero

with none

because sometimes

the villains

have the right

ideas

but people just

don't understand

they shoot them down

before they even

have a chance

to do something

great

but i suppose

sometimes

the villains

don't do any good

but maybe

if we took the time

to understand

them

they would be

happier

better

kinder

maybe they

wouldn't be

villains

and maybe they would

after all

villainy

is a perspective
