CHAPTER 1

I stepped back and leaned slightly so that I could peek out at him from the window. I just smiled when I saw him sitting in the front and also frowned immediately when I saw he had two women next to him, he was in the middle.

"Apostol,"

"Ah. Yes, Sir," napaayos kaagad ako nang tayo nang makita si Sir Ejen.

His forehead furrowed and he imitated what I did before, then he looked back at me. I just bit my lip when his big grin flashed on his face.

"Mamaya na yang paghanga mo,"natatawang aniya kaya ngumuso ako."Oh, ihatid mo na ito sa classroom at pupunta muna ako sa canteen. Sabihan mo ang mga kaklase mo na wag maingay baka makaistorbo sa ibang may klase. Saglit lang ako."

"Yes, Sir," kinuha ko ang libro at iba pang gamit niya na inabot sa akin.

I waited for him to leave then smiled and looked at what I was looking at before but I was shocked when I saw Zach looking at me. I suddenly met his cold stare, the reason why I swallowed so hard and suddenly left there. When I passed their room, I was holding my chest while feeling my heart beating fast.

When I entered the room, I was immediately greeted by various noises. Some are laughing, others are banging the table, they are also walking around.

"Rain, si Sir?" tanong ni Criscel. Itinaas ko ang hawak na gamit.

"Sumaglit lang sa canteen," dumiretso na ako sa teacher's table at doon inilapag ang gamit ni Sir. Pinukpok ko ng dalawang beses ang table para tumingin sila sa akin at nagwagi naman ako. "Minimize your voice, guys. Baka makaistorbo tayo sa kabilang section."

"Wala si Sir?"

"Hindi papasok si Sir?"

"Yes, wala si Sir."

I winced when they asked the same question repeatedly and suddenly got obstreperous. I shouted and like what I expected, they didn't hear me. I sighed and hit the table again. They looked at me. Swallowing while panting and calming themselves.

"May dinaanan lang si Sir sa canteen," sabi ko at nag-ungolan naman sila.

"Ayy!"

"Sayang naman. Dapat wala si Sir."

I just grimaced and went to my seat. I fanned myself and looked at Jan who was fidgeting with what was on her phone. I adjusted my seat and calmed myself.

"Nandiyan na si Sir!" may biglang sumigaw kaya nagkagulo na naman sa room namin.

"Good morning, class," bati ni Sir kaya tumayo kaming lahat.

"Good morning, Sir Ejen," sabay naming sabi at senenyasan naman niya kaming maupo.

"Who wants to recap what have we discussed yesterday?" tanong kaagad ni Sir hindi paman siya nakaabot sa harapan. "Anyone?"

"Sir!"

"Yes, Aguilar?"

"We tackled Modifying Eating Habits. And it's important when you are at risk of disease," Sagot nito saka umupo.

Sir Ejen continued to discuss our new topic. I just looked at him and listened to every word that came out of his mouth.

"Are you familiar with sports?" tanong niya.

"Yes, Sir!" sabay naming sabi.

"Alright, of course all of us are familiar with different kinds of sports. Can you give me different kinds of sports?"

"Sir!" halos sabay na sigaw ng lahat.

"Yes, Banua? Give me three sports that you're familiar with."
