Kelis pov

I get up and start getting dressed my moms been asking me to come see her once I'm dressed I grab keys and head out

*ring ring*

Kelis- hello?

Mom- hey hun where are you?

Kelis- I just left the house mom I'm on my way I'll be there in 20 minutes

Mom- okay hun love you

Kelis- love you too

We get off the phone and start driving about 10 minutes into driving I notice a black car that's been following me since I left the house I make a right they make a right I make a left they make a left I make a u-turn they make a u-turn
I decided I'm going to call Chris

Chris- yes doll?

Kelis- are you at the office?

Chris-yes

Kelis- did you hire me like a tail or guard of some sort?

Chris- no...kelis what's going on?

Kelis- I think I'm being followed I was on my way to my moms house and I noticed a car was following me I'm on my way to the office right now just so I can see what they do

Chris- I'll let the front gate know

Kelis- tell them I'm coming in hot and to clear the way

Chris- okay

We get off the phone and once the light turns green I floor it once I take off the car starts speeding up I hit the corner coming up onto the office and I honk my horn to let them know I'm coming in once I got close enough to turn in they all got out the way and once  I turned in the car kept going then turned on  the next street

"ms.wilson are you okay? "yes I am thank you , keep an eye out for that car okay "yes ma'am "

I make my way up to the office and once I step off the elevator Chris grabs me and starts checking me for injuries

"did you hurt anything? Are you okay? Is the car damaged? "Chris ,Chris look at me ....I'm fine okay "okay "

I pull out my phone and call my mom

Mom- hey hun your here?

Kelis- no mom I might be late and I might be bringing a friend with me ...someone was following me so I'm going change cars

Mom- okay be safe love u

Kelis- love you too

"if your ready to go we can go rn and I'll have of if the guys drop your car off at home "okay I'm ready the sooner we do this the better "
"crazy to say I'm actually afraid to meet your mom "oh don't worry about her my mom will love you it's my sister I'm worried about she comes after every man I'm with "I would hope she wouldn't come after a married man "
"surprisingly no she wouldn't that's where she draws the line "well tonight I will be your fiancé hopefully that'll help keep her off of me and keep you sane Here put this on . "

"holy fuck Chris...Wtfk "what? You don't like it ? "no I love it but you don't have to do all this for me "yes I do"

He grabs my face and looks me deep in my eyes....

"I'll do anything for you kelis.... don't forget that "

He lets me go and we make our way to his car and start going to my moms

@ kelis's mom house

We get there and I see my sister ,my brother , and my aunts cars in front

"you ready ? "as I'll ever be "

We get out and go to the door before I could even knock the door swings open and my nephew jumps in my arms mind you he's 16 year old
"Aunty K your finally here save meeee"
"chad pled get down your not a baby no more "
"okay okay I missed you tho K who's this? "
"this is my fiancé Chris , babe this is my nephew chad "nice to meet you chad "
"you too Chris how's my Aunty treating you I know she's a hand full" what the hell "

Chris starts laughing and so does chad after they bond a bit we finally walk into the living room

"hey everyone "
"hey baby bout time you got here "
"I'm glad you made it safely baby girl and who is this fine younge man hello sir "
"hello ma'am my name is Christopher or Chris
"omg that's my name too...you sho is fine what you doing with my boring ass sister "

I was ready to beat her ass and everyone could tell

"well tbh you basically said why I'm with her I love her being "boring" she's great to be around I wouldn't want be with anybody else "
"you guys are together!?? "yes...we're engaged
"omg !!! Congratulations oh when is the wedding? "we haven't decided yet...we're still enjoy the fact that I even proposed but once we have decided I'll make sure to arrange a dinner to give out details "well that's just prefect "
"so y'all really together? This ain't just bc y'all came over here today? "
"I live with him been living with him for almost a year now what do you mean. Just admit your jealous bc you want him and it can't happen....now if you'll excuse us we have plans tonight I'll catch with y'all another time "

With that we walk out the door and go home I go in the house and hop right in the shower and get in bed this has been a long ass day ..
