"Did you promote me just to make fun of me?"

He was asking me to bring a clipboard or a virtual one everywhere I goㅡincluding when he's not aroundㅡto always remind me of his schedules for the day.

"That would make you look much more like a secretary, ayaw mo ba no'n?" he airily added.

"Being an employee is fine with me, as long as you are not the boss!" I retorted in exasperation.

Ngumisi siya. "Well, you applied in our company, Sis."

Kahit na nasa kataas-taasan na posisyon na siya, when kalokohan strikes him, he would never care about how unprofessional he would become.

"Double the wage."

Napadilat at napatitig ako kay Kuya Rudy, bewildered about what he said.

"What?"

"I will double your wage as a secretary."

I squinted, observing whether he was telling the truth or not. Hindi siya natinag. "Seryoso ka ba?"

He arrogantly smiled and stood up on his feet. "Why not?"

"OMG, you could've told me that sooner!" I squealed and smiled. Napairap siya at natawa ng mahina. "Magkano ba ang sahod?" dagdag ko.

He buttoned his coat and fixed his necktie. "You're gonna earn a million in a year, saan ka pa?"

I smirked and hooked my bag on my shoulder. "Deal."

I was fully aware that being my brother's secretary would cause such a great chaos for me. He told me it was part of my training as his new secretary. And so, I did.

By the time I thought I would be able to take a rest, my boss told me to schedule a meeting regarding the partnership with an oil companyㅡcan't remember its name. Sumunod na ang pag-organize ko nito. I needed to prioritize and send an e-mail to the necessary attendees first, so I asked my brother for their names.

He eagerly told me the names as I wrote it on a paper.

I arched a brow. "Excuse me? Did you say Brett?"

"Yes. Brett Anderson, CEO of Metroleum."
