He had to sit in the front. and i had to sit in the back. He was on the row next to mine. He had Amy and her friends all up on him. Talking to him about the party. I couldn't hear. But all period he would look back at me and smile. I would just raise my eye brow at him. I had my headphones blaring heavy metal. I was counting to draw my wolf. It was one of those real realistic ones. "Harris!" I pulled out a headphone and looked up from my drawing to see ms. Madison had her hands at her hips and was looking down at me. "Yea?" I asked. She grabbed my phone and pulled out the headphones. I stood. "Hey!" I yelled. "Your not allowed to listen to music in class." She said. "Well guess what, i don't give a shit!" I yanked back my phone and sat down. "Dentition. Two weeks." Haha guess what bitch, I already have it! But if I said that she'd make me have it two weeks after that. "Fine with me." I said. She walked back to the front of the classroom. "Now come and write down a stem. And the meaning." I sighed. I did t know what to write. I stood and everyone was looking at me. I gulped. Feeling everyone stare at me. I walked to the front of the classroom and picked up a marker. Right when I did, something sticky came splashing down on me. It was coffee. I gasped and turned around. Everyone was laughing and pointing at me. But who mainly stood out......was amy and Scott. She was whispering in his ear and he laughed. Great even the new kid thinks of me as a loser. I stormed out of the room and slammed the door shut. I ran Outside to a water spiket in the back. Which was down a hill. My hair stuck to my face. As did all my cloths. I forced myself not to cry. As much as I wanted to, I knew I had to be stronger than that to let some preppy little brat push me around and make me feel like this. But don't worry.....I'll get my revenge. I started pouring my self down with water. Using the bucket that was nearby the water spiket. I'd say it took about five minutes before warren showed up. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry about this. What did they do to you?" He put his hand on my back as I tried to clean my legs. Luckily winter had just passed and it was warm now. "How did you find out?" I asked. He sighed and helped me stand straight. "I heard Amy talking about it to her friends in the bathroom." "You were in the girls bathroom?" He smiled. "Um....." I slapped his shoulder. "You were in there with Bella you?" I asked raising one eyebrow. "Haha....yea." I rolled my eyes and finished rinsing off. "How did you find me?" I asked. "Oh, Scott told be you'd be back here. Well I would give you a ride home but my parents are picking me up early and you know how they don't like you." "It's fine. I'll walk up to the bus stop." I said waving my hand. "Cool, well I gotta go up in the car line so I don't miss her. I'm sorry." He said running off. So now I was there alone. I dragged myself up the hill. I was out of breath by the time I got to the top. I sighed and ran inside and grabbed all my stuff and put it in my locker before anyone could see me. they were all at lunch. Then I left. I started waking down the street. It wasn't long before I heard someone come up from behind me. "Hey Harris." Scoot said as he jogged up beside me. I didn't want to talk to him. He laughed along with the prank just like the others did. I just stayed quiet and avoided looking at him. "Hey. You alive?" He asked. "Yes I'm fully functioning. I just don't want to talk to an asshole." I looked at him. "How can you assume that if you've only known me a day?" He asked. "Because most NICE people are nice and don't laugh when someone gets dozens of gallons of coffee dumped on their head." I didn't smile. But he did. "I didn't laugh. I smiled at you." "And smiling makes it so much better." I rolled my eyes. "No, I wasn't smiling at the coffee thing.....I was smiling at you. You didn't cry like I've seen other girls do." Guess what bastard, I dot give a shit! "Sure you were. And how did you know where I was at? I hadn't even shown you that part of the school." He scratched the back of his neck. He stopped smiling. "Um......I just had a good guess I guess." He gave a fake smile. "Your lying." I said. "I can't exactly tell you how I knew. I just kinda....knew." I sighed and stopped at the bus stop. "We'll That's my cue to not take you as a friend right there." "Look this is a big one and I can't tell you. I can't tell anyone. Not even my family members. So you have to trust me when I say it's a big deal. I only tell special people. But trust me, it sucks." "Yea well it sucks having no one in your life that gives one fuck about you." I said. His face looked like I had just said I hated him. He sighed. "If we were to be friends then that would be the only secret." I shook my head and the bus pulled up. "Just forget it. I gotta go home. See you tomorrow." I pushed him away to get on the bus. But he grabbed my arm. "It's okay dude, she's riding with me." He said to The bus driver. Before I could say anything the bus drier nodded and drove away. I yanked my arm from his hand. "You really want me to hate you don't you?!" I yelled. "Look it's only lunch time. I'll ho by your house and get you some cloths if you stay." He said. "Why do you want me to stay here so bad?" Seriously! "Because.......I can't tell you." I threw my arms in the air and started walking. "You apparently can't tell me anything. And right now that's not working out to good for you." He followed me. "Look okay, I'm sorry. But you just need to trust me okay? Please." I rolled my eyes. Wether he could see it or not. "Just go back to school Scott." I said. "Come on Brenda." That made me stop. When did he learn my name. "You ned to tell me now, Scott. I'm getting really angry with you." I said. "I already told you. I can't." I kept walking. "Then go away. Go find some other friends. Because I'm not going to be one of yours right now." He tried grabbing for my shoulder but I stopped him. "Just stop already." I said. He stopped following me. Finally. I walked all the way home. Thanks to that jerk Scott. I could've sworn I heard him growl.

I walked through the front door. Jared, my stepfather, lay on the couch with beer bottles in his lap and hands. At least this place smelt good. And looked decent. I ran up to my room and grabbed an extra pair of cloths. Then went to take a shower. While I was in there I knew my mom would be busting her ass off at work for money. She worked as a lawyer. A very good one two. But she also was married to Jared. I got out of the shower and went to my room. I got dressed and grabbed my phone. Two missed messages. From warren an Isabella.

Warren: you okay? Did you find a ride home?

Me:yea thanks.

I wanted to say more but didn't.

Isabella: Omg I heard what happened! But by the time I did you had left already. I'm sooooo sorry. And that kid Scott wanted me to tell you that he was sorry.

I didn't reply yet. Scott told her to tell me that? It killed me inside to not know what he kept a secret. And why he couldn't tell anyone. But I needed to get it out of him. One way or another.

Me: lets go to that party tomorrow.
