60. Breaking the walls

It's been three years that he asked me to marry him. These two years we have been busy with our works. We don't have time to meet each other like we used to do previously. Like I have been avoiding him for most of the times saying I have some work even when I don't have anything to do.

His closeness had been affecting me soo much, so I moved to my mom's place. Before starting my career, I transferred all the shares to his name and he became the lead again. He is doing well and he has the hold now. He has been doing great. 

Anna and Brendan would come to visit us once in a while. My schedule has been soo packed up and I am not getting a chance to meet him. I am an artist in his company, but we get to see each other soo rarely. 

I had to take up my position as the sectional head and then hire new artists and train them. They new ones are really very good and they are talented. I am actually enjoying my time with them. 

I cleared all my schedules for the next week. It's Suzy's wedding today. All the other except me, Cara and Suzy got married in these three years and now they all are happy couples and some are happy parent's. Damon proposed to Em on Ethan's 1st birthday and the next week, they had a simple marriage with the family and friends. Em gave birth to Ivy last year. Ivy is so cute just like her mother and she has Damon's eyes.

Evelyn and Klaus were the first to get married in the group. They had super fun wedding in the Bali and now she is in her 6th month of her pregnancy. 

Claire's and Stephen's has been a super cool and super fun wedding. It had been a bit chaotic. Claire's mom didn't like Stephen at first. He had to try soo hard to impress her and to get married to Claire. He changed a lot for her. Not that he is a bad boy, but that doesn't make him a good one either. He had a lot of anger issues. But now he has become the most coolest person.

Olivia's and Dylan's had been the plain and cool marriage. They said they are taking us on a trip and when we were on the trip, suddenly they announced that they are gonna get married to that night. It happened fast and sweet. After returning, they gave a party to all the people who missed. Now they are happy parents to Matthew. He is such a sweet and intelligent kid.

Today is a big day for Suzy. She is been high on serotonin and she is freaking out. Noah proposed her in a very dramatic way. He took her to a beach and then he built a sand castle and told her that it is his heart and the owner of it is Suzy. It had been recorded by someone and it became viral.

It  took me less time to get ready. I braided only half of my hair. However full braid isn't going to sustain on me for long.  

She is sitting infront of the mirror and applying her makeup. She never lets anyone do her makeup and her hair. But this time, she left her hair to Claire. Claire pulled Suzy's hair into a beautiful bun and pinned it from the bottom. Suzy looks pretty like hell. 

"If I was a man, I would have kidnapped you" I say hugging her from behind making sure I don't spoil her dress or or her hair. "If you were a male, I think I would be the first one to kill all the girls who laid their eyes on you" she says turning to front. We all laugh and I look around the room. Em is busy feeding Ivy and Olivia is trying to convince Matthew to wear a suit. He and Ethan are the ring bearers today. 

We all are the bridesmaids and then our men are the groomsmen. Suzy wanted the bridesmaid to wear the dusty blue color. We don't know what the groomsmen are wearing yet. I tried asking Em, Claire and Ollie. But they are also clueless. These men are always so perfect in maintaining the secrets .

I wore the Iman bridesmaid style while the married chose the safe Pierrette style. Cara chose the Kailyn to be similar and at the same time be different to mine. Our style of choice looks a bit similar. 

Mom calls me to inform that it is time for us to come. I tried to ask what the groomsmen were wearing, but she didn't answer to that. Why are everyone keeping it such a secret. Even ours had been a secret till now. 

This will be the first time I would be seeing him over a month. We haven't seen each other for the whole month and I am soo excited to see him now. I am getting more anxious than Suzy. 

I keep digging my nails into my palm. Cara notices that and she rubs my back in a soothing way. When we reach the stage, we help Suzy get onto the stage and we stand on the other side of the stage. It is an outdoor wedding. I know that he is just a few feet away from me. The breeze is carrying his scent along with it. 

If I look up now, I would never turn away. I decide to go back. I don't if I can still handle all this. I need some time. I need to think. I turn away and head to the other side. I sit on the warm sand. Suzy always liked warm places and the only warm place in the whole city is this beach. 

I know he is standing right behind me. I motion him to sit beside me. But all that I get is silence. I get up with a grunt. But my dress falls under my feet and I miss a step. But even before my body touches the ground, he catches me and turns me along with him. 

I open my eyes to see him. He looks like an angel. Like- I don't even have words. How can that light color look soo perfect on him. His suit matches my dress and he looks so perfect. Everything is so perfect about him in this broad day light. I meet his eyes and I find every answer I have been looking for. How can he just communicate with me without any words.

"Aaron-" I start to say something, but I am lost for words. "I am not going anywhere sweetheart. Never" he says putting his lips on mine. I want to stay with him like this forever. 

We both pull apart and head to the stage. There is a whole damn crowd waiting for us to return and to continue with the marriage and we have been on the beach kissing. I just give everyone a small smile and they smile back winking at me. He holds me closer and tighter this time. I look around and see everyone with their partners. They all give me their best and heart warming smiles. 

We all burst into cheers when the groom kisses the bride. Finally they are here together. They had many ups and downs. Suzy had been traumatized by many of his fan girls saying that she lured him into the trap and spoiled his career. It took them soo much pain and soo much of understanding to reach here. 

I pull up all my courage and turn to Aaron.

"Mr. Aaron Summers will you marry me" I ask kneeling down before him. The first thing he does is pulling me up and holding me in his arms bridal style and he nods shedding happy tears. I lift my chin up and kiss him. 

We pull apart when we hear someone clearing their throat beside us. I don't need to look at him. Ethan. Ethan had always been possessive about me. Aaron doesn't put me down. "She's my girl, so you better go and find someone" Aaron says pulling me even closer to him. 

Ethan narrows his eyes at Aaron before turning to me to send a kiss in my direction. This time, I usher Aaron to put me down and I bend down to kiss Ethan. "I was just kidding sweetie pie" Ethan whispers into my ear. Ethan had been calling me that like Aiden. "I know" I whisper to him and pull back.

"You can actually marry right now" Claire says coming to my side. 

"We will take some more time" I say and turn to Aaron and he nods.
