Your POV

"Do you think he's actually gonna show up?" I asked, glancing between my three boyfriends.

Alex shrugged. "I feel like its anyone's guess at this point."

"I'll be pretty surprised if he does, honestly," John replied. "At least right on time."

"He's probably going to show up late," Alex tacked on, nodding. "Maybe a half-hour, maybe more. Maybe less. I have no idea."

"I wonder if he thinks I'm here at the least," John said after a moment. He looked at me. "You said I gave you your phone, right?"

I nodded, and our South Carolinian boyfriend resumed talking. "If he shows up late, it might be 'cause he thinks either me or Alex are here. Even Laf, since I'm guessin' he wouldn't show up if he knew you were here, unfortunately."

Laf nodded, rubbing the back of his neck. "Oui. I do not think that 'erc would like to see me right now."

"Which is f*cking ridiculous," Alex huffed. "This all is! We've all tried to talk to him and bring things back to normal but he's so- so stubborn! I don't understand!"

"None of us do, Lex," I responded. "Herc went from the calmest, most rational one to..." I wasn't even sure.

"The most irrational and aggressive?" John tried.

"Sounds about right to me," Alex muttered. Laf nodded after a moment, myself as well.

I reached for my phone again a bit later, turning it on.

I had been wondering when I'd finally hear from (B/F/N) and Amara again. I made a mental note to thank John later for letting them know I was awake. Maybe I'd try to get ahold of Noah and Owen next.

Unlocking my phone, I went to my best friend's message.

Hey girl, John told us the good news earlier! Mars and I wanted to come by tomorrow afternoon since she gets out of work early. Do we have to share time with the boys or are we allowed to have you for a couple hours or so?

I smiled to myself, huffing amusedly. Typical (B/F/N).

(N/N): Hey! No you don't have to share time lol. If anything, please feel free to kick them out. I'd be lying if I said it's not their fault I'm going crazy. I needa talk to you two asap

(B/F/NN) <3: Like seriously crazy? Did some sh*t go down?

(N/N): Just a bit. You and Mars needa hear it in person tho, there's no way in hell I can explain over text

(B/F/NN) <3: We'll be there as soon as Mars is outta work. You got me all curious now smh

(N/N): One, although each of them could do with a swift kick imo
