Dinner With The Fam

[Time swap to dinner]

The whole family is at the table. Dominic, Paddy, Tom, Sam, You, Nikki, Harry.

Nikki: "So, has anyone done anything nice?"

Sam: "eeehm, I made food."

Paddy: "yes, that's what you do all day!"

You laugh

Dominic: "And y/n?"

You: "Oh, uh just school things."

You look at your plate of good food. You look at that at Tom. He's poking his food with his fork. But he hasn't eaten yet. Nikki notices.

Nikki: "And Tom? Something happened today."

Tom: "What?"

Nikki: "Something happened today?"

Tom stays silent.

He loses his plate and then he looks at you. You look at him. You nod. He sighs.

Tom: "Well, y/n got an e-mail from we think Marvel."

Harry: "Mavel?!"

Dominic: "Harry shut up and let Tom finish."

It was an ad about a new movie they want to make. And I could audition for that part. It's about character ..."

He's looking at you again.

Tom: ".... Spider-Man."

Harry: "No way"

Sam: "OMG, you should totally do it!"

Dominic: "Is this real?"

Paddy: "I'm jealous."

Tom: "I don't know."

Nikki: "What makes you doubt Tom, you want this! You loved Spider-Man."

Dominic: "The fact that you wanted that Spider-Man duvet so bad."

Sam: "You always watched those Spider-Man movies, it drove me crazy. Do you remember."

Tom smiles

Tom: "Yh, I remember."

You: "Even if you get rejected. I know you can do this."

It remains silent. Tom looks around the table, all eyes on him. He's looking at you. You smile.

Tom: "Okey..... I'm going to do it."

Harry stands up: "Let's go!"

Paddy: "Yes!"

They give Tom a hug

Dominic: "look at our son, he is going to do an audition!"

Nikki laugh, Dominic and Nikki gives Tom a hug. You also stand up and give Tom a hug. He hugs you back. Sam whistles with his mouth: 'You two are so adorable.'

Tom: "Omg, shut up Sam!"

You see Tom with his hands on his face. You laugh.

Tom: "It's not funny!"

You all burst out laughing.
