DAGGER IN THE HEART

"You don't deserve this", he breathed. His hand glided against my cheek as I slowly lean into it.

"What do you mean?"

"Nothing. Never mind", he brushes it away. I don't think too much of it, so instead I mumble against his hand.

But what I didn't know is what he said was true. I didn't know that I really never deserved any of this. Because the person I trusted the most has been slowly breaking me. Lying to me. But not just a simple lie. It was a lie that could ruin me. Kill me and shatter my heart into a dozen little pieces. And this lie can even kill the life of another. He slowly ripped me piece by piece with a weapon that was made to end me. A dagger shoved so deeply into his pocket that even I couldn't see all along what it was he was planning.
