Chapter ~2~

I put one sleeve of the back pack on and let it hang. I see the guy but not Johnny. I walk up to them. "Hey gorgeous" I hear jimmy say. I let out a giggle. "Hey jimmy" I reply. "Look I have to go to the girls bathroom. I'll be back" I say walking away and to the girls bathroom.  I pull out my back pack put on some mascara and clear lipgloss. I put everything back in my back pack and mess up my hair a little bit. I walk back out and towards the group. "Wow" I hear Bobby say. I laugh at him. "What" I say. "I- uhh you just look-" he says but gets cute off by Dutch. "Hot" Dutch says finishing his sentence.

I smile at them. "Do you guys know where Johnny is" I say to them. They all look at me with sad expressions on their faces. "Tommy" I say to him. He points to the field. I turn and see Johnny making out with Ali. "Right" I say. "I'll see you guys later" I say turning away only to bump into someone. His books go falling to the floor.  "Oh shit I'm sorry!" I say bending down  to pick up his books. "No no it's fine" he says. I grab his books and hand them to him. He smiles at me. I smile back.

"You're new here" I say to him. "How'd you know" he says letting out a laugh. "I know someone new, when I see someone new" I say letting out a giggle. "Hey get away from her!" I hear Johnny yell. I grab the new kids hand and run off with him. "I'm sorry. That's was my boyfriend, well now ex boyfriend" I say sadly. "Oh I'm sorry" he replies. I grab a price of paper and a pencil. I write down my name and number. "Here contact me if you need anything" I say handing it to him. "What's your name" I ask him. He smiles at me and takes the paper.

"Daniel" he responds. I smile at him again. "Well Daniel I'm lydia. Just text me whenever" I say smiling and walking out. I walk back to my locker. The guys waiting for me. "You're in my way" I say laughing at them. "What was that for!" I hear Johnny yell. I type in my code and pop open my locker. I put my backpack inside grab my book, folders, and a pencil. "Hello" he says. "Look at me when I'm talking to you!" He says raising his voice at me. I slam my locker shut. "No!" I yell at him. "Why don't you talk to Ali! Maybe that bitch will understand you!" I say walking away.

I let a tear slide down my face. Ali steps in front of me. "What" I say looking at her. "Did you enjoy the little show" she says. I turn around and see everyone starting at us even the guys. "No but everyone will enjoy this one" I say kicking up my leg and hitting her in the face. "A bitch  knows a bitch. But a bitch defends her self when a slut stands infornt of her!" I yell and kick her in the stomach. I turn and look at Johnny. "Oh and we're done"I say. "Shows over!" I yell at everyone. I walk away. I see Daniel at his locker. Struggling to open it.

"Need some help pretty boy" I say laughing. "Yes please" he says. I walk towards him and put in his combo. It pops open. "There you go" I say to him. "Hey what class do you have first" I ask him. "History" he responds "what about you" he asks back. "History as well" I say to him. My phone starts ringing. I pull it out and my face goes from scared to worried. "Hey you okay"he says to me. I look at him. "I need to answer this" I say dropping my books on The floor. My heart starts racing.

"Hello" I say to the unknown number. "Is this Lydia?" I hear a female voice say. "Yeah..who is this?" I say to her. "This is doctor jones. Your mother was in a accident" she says and my heart drops. "Is she okay" I say. "She's resting right now but can you please come down" the doctor says. "I- yeah I will. I'm on my way" I say to her. "Thank you! See you soon" she says hanging up the phone. A few tears slide down my face.

I turn to see Daniel with my books in his hand. "What happened" he says looking at me. "I- it's my mom. She-she got in a accident" I say as another tear rolls down my face. "I have to um get to the hospital" I say to him. "I'll go with you" he says. "No! I don't wanna have you skip school" I say to him. "It's fine. My mom Will understand" he says. He grabs my books. He grabs his back pack and shuts his locker. I start walking towards my locker. I type my code, open it and grab my back pack.

I grab my keys. And we start walking to the car only to be stopped by Johnny. "Where do you think you're going" he says to me. "I'm leaving" I say to him. "With him" Dutch says. I let another tear slip. "Yeah with Daniel. So if you don't mind we are leaving" I say walking away. He blocks my way again. "You're not leaving" he says. "God dammit Johnny, my mom got in a accident. I'm on my way to the hospital! Daniel is going with me!" I say to him. I grab Daniels hand and we walk to the car. I unlock it and he throws his stuff in the back.

I start the engine and we make our way to the hospital. I take a deep breath.
